Most triple A games are so horribly unoptimized an fps cap is not necessary
Worst case scenario you can take it apart & put it back together to maybe find a defective part. Terminal is tricky because of the language barrier. It’s all just coding with extra steps which isn’t meant to dumb it down.
Bazzite is the answer you search for. Learn the terminal & eventually get a grasp on why atomic distros are cool and you’ll be okay. I was on windows for years & when I learned the terminal for that it was like I was giving God powers.
Statistically speaking most people can find new games in their library they bought and never touched for years. It’s a genius marketing strategy on steam’s part.
I love seeing him enjoy Linux since he mentioned it awhile ago
For a long time I couldn’t get a stable distro working on my HP laptop with Intel 4 core & Nvidia 1660ti but after numerous successful daily driving on my desktops + steam deck of course I tried Bazzite which did the trick. Everything runs smoother & I haven’t encountered anything unable to run because the steam proton is mature. Lutris is perfect for anything to do with alternative launchers, roms, I even got modded black ops 2 working and I never thought that would be possible.
I wish you the best of luck.
I’ll buy one if it’s “jailbroken” i.e. built like it’s a thing you own not a subscription service. Everyone I know who owns the 5 like I do use it for exclusives. Bloodborne is the biggest selling point for me so ffs just unlock the fps already it’s been 9 years.
Butter is amazing especially on ostree like fedora atomic for example
I install nobara
Site your source
Douchebag incorporated
As long as you can download flatpak I see no reason why this wouldn’t become the best option for normal people besides immutable rolling distros.
If it makes you feel any better I had to install windows because my dad refuses to use his phone to print anything.
I’ve had consistently good experiences with USB dongles like gulikit for example.
Assassin’s Creed is not relevant enough to justify a live service game but I’m not surprised ubisoft didn’t stop halfway through production to change course.
Qubes and opensuse are great for any VM needs. Not sure what the issue with privacy is exactly you can pretty much reconfigure any distro to be oriented the way you want it.
I like the ability to remove or add the numb pad depending on the work or play.
Absolutely it’s great value paired with the dock.
Great when it works. Not so great when it’s impossible to connect your system when the web page gives a limit on usage. My assumption is Sony hates anything that isn’t under their direct control.
