This sounds like it’s not a game for me but one a lot of folks will dig.
Until Marvel Rivals showed it could still be done but you needed a very specific game for it.
Oh wow okay yeah I’m going to do this, that is a huge bump in visibility.
Yeah but for $3500…… no one’s going to pay that for a monitor replacement. Get it to even $1000-$1500 and I’d bet you get a lot more interest.
I want to watch this but also know it will wreck me
This looks fun! Going to have to check that demo out when I get home.
Any link/info on your game? I’m down for a cozy game with a bit more core gameplay
Played through the demo and I can’t wait for the full release.
To be fair, you have to have a small fortune in figures anyway haha
I started a Pathfinder game because I wanted to get away from D&D, and because two friends really got into Dimension20 stuff and wanted to give RPGs a try. I was digging the rules a lot but they’re watching 6-8 hours of D&D content a week and playing PF2E every couple of weeks, and it was just a huge disconnect for them. With Abomination Vaults getting a 5e release, it just seems easier to make the switch back to something my players are more comfortable with.
Now to convince my cousin he wants to run a PF2E game so I can get that bard life going.
It doesn’t have gif searching though which is so annoying.
Right? I’ll never understand why they don’t go with Super Wii or Wii Advanced, as those were established “hey here’s the next gen of this system” names.
Totally get it and that’s why I’d gone with Creality initially, but then I kept having issues and my BIL and coworker both picked up P1Ss and it just worked and that’s apparently the cutover point for my moral stance haha
It’s not like I even have anything planned that needs the extra space, but going from 12x12 to 10x10 was a bit of a shock haha
Comparison of the two, green is the P1S and red is the K1M, and you can see the lumps and funky first layer that I couldn’t get tightened up. As an added benefit with the AMS now, I can do the dates with a flush dual color easily, instead of my prior method of a manual filament swap and negative space for the characters to show the first color.
Could be, could be. This is just anecdotal on my part where I’ve helped people get up to speed and they’ve told me they basically never used a computer growing up. Maybe they don’t count Chromebooks as part of that group, dunno.
I work in tech at a credit union and we’ve hit a weird full circle point where the new folks entering the job market need a lot of training on using a computer for this reason. It’s been very bizarre being back at a point where I have to explain things like how to right click because a lot of people have grown up only using phone/tablets.
That’s super fair and a trend I could agree with. I’m tentatively optimistic from rumors that the Switch 2 will be fully backward compatible and have a shared virtual store, which has been such a sore spot for me compared to how Xbox runs it. Fingers crossed for more competition though!
Edit: also, thank you for the detailed response, I appreciated it!
The Switch has sold over 140 million units, the third highest selling console of all time, and unlike most every other one out there was turning a profit on every unit instead of being a loss leader. Why would Nintendo think about going software only with those kind of numbers in their pocket?
Whoops I should have had that up top!
