Notepad is the default text editor on Windows. I’d be surprised if most people even knew WordPad existed.

I thought The Martian was just ok, but I didn’t like Project Hail Mary. It’s full of ridiculous and contrived coincidences and convenient events rather than actual problem solving. I know a lot of people love it but IMO it’s very weak writing and plotting.

I have never heard of Crystal before. Can someone give a quick explanation of what this language is good for and why it is exists? There are already so many languages out there.

I couldn’t finish Dune either. I’m sure the story is great, but the writing IMO is terrible.

Lemm.ee prevents any uploads over 100KB, so for anything like a photo or a screenshot you’ll need to first upload to a 3rd party image site.

I tried about five different apps and Liftoff is the one I think I’ve settled on. It has the smoothest overall experience IMO and the most appealing UI. But Jerboa would be my second choice.
