Enjoy eating rocks, I guess?
They can open every piece of mail and read the contents.
There are two and only two things that makes Epic Games a pariah.
(1)Exclusive content on PC should be shunned so hard that it’s not even a fucking option. You can explain away exclusively on PS3 because of its unique hardware, but it’s just a naked monopolistic power grab on PC.
(2) Epic game store sucks on every level. It’s a pigs 3 week old rotting corpse compared to Valve’s packaged ham.
Yeah, but Valve doesn’t really give a shit if it’s abused. Steam is a solitary positive example of the weird “(mostly)benevolent monopoly” idea. GabeN owns the company, there aren’t any shareholders to appease, so as long as he’s alive steam will be solid. I hope he has a successor picked out that can uphold his ideals.
Not in Arizona. You don’t even have to live there, just have to file there.
There’s at least 10 states with no annual fee. Arizona is $50 to file, $0 annual fees, and no annual report to file.
If you’d prefer your company to have voting rights, you can file in Rhode Island, and your company can vote in local and state elections without ever stepping foot in the state. Hooray late stage capitalism 😞
It’s an AMD Athlon!
Totally fine for gaming in 2024.
I’m posting this from a 7 year old phone with an OLED screen. The screen still looks as good as the day I bought it.
My hardware is twice as powerful as anything that existed when the game was supposed to release. Still runs like dogshit. I log in once a year to see if the game is still trash. The game is still trash. It’s not a literal scam, but it might as well be because Chris Roberts hasn’t been able to actually complete a game since Wing Commander. Which I loved, and unfortunately that spurred me to flush $40 in the toilet.
The price in the US for a rebuilt transmission plus swap on a BMW is about $5000. So I guess it depends on location.

Because the overwhelming majority won’t wear out at 100k miles. ICE cars have engine failures early as well, so why are we picking on EVs? I just had to put my car in the dumpster at 112k because the head gasket failed and replacing it would cost 6 fucking thousand dollars!
Meanwhile my wife’s Prius has 300k on it and the battery is still at 70% capacity.
To be fair /r/malefashionadvice turned into a circlejerk of popular people posting fits (influencers?) and very little real advice outside of a preset notion of what was acceptable.

Where are you going to buy your replacement gasoline engine and transmission? The previous owner decided that oil change intervals were more of a guideline anyway. One big win in buying a used EV is that maintenance is minimal, so there’s less worry about how the previous owner treated the car.
I promise replacing your drivetrain at 200k is going to cost more than a battery pack.
I can get an aftermarket LiFePo battery replacement for my prius for 1/10th the cost of an OEM. It’s just a bunch of laptop batteries in a box, it really doesn’t have to be super expensive. As adoption grows aftermarket battery replacements will plummet in price.
I would imagine most devices have BMS settings to deal with this now.
There’s not much incentive to do that. Battery longevity reduces sales. Keeping the battery at 100% gives better review scores. It’s a lose lose for phone makers to implement that.
If you want to get pedantic about it, 3rd world originally meant countries that didn’t take sides in the cold war. 1st world was US and western European democracies and their client states and allies, 2nd world was USSR and their client states and allies.
3rd world was Africa, India, a lot of SE Asia and some Central/South American countries.
Hogwarts Legacy was cracked ages ago. It was cracked in under a month.
Open/Libreoffice can do that too
