Sure, but I wouldn’t recommend using a system that gets no security updates. Its more than worth upgrading or switching to linux to avoid that.

How can people figure out email, but lemmy is just too complicated?
I wish it was considered normal for games like this to die out. Trying to maintain your audience with new content every few months is unsustainable. Ideally these games would release with the content the designers intended, no more and no less, and they would slowly lose their less dedicated players.
That way the more dedicated players aren’t frustrated by having to keep up with a rapidly changing game, and can just get better in peace. I would guess this wouldn’t be profitable for a free to play game with micro-transactions. But, I have a crazy idea. Just charge for the game up front.
No, because Facebook is not explicitly designed for the sole purpose of illegal transactions. Very clear difference.
I think its slightly dishonest to frame this as him simply “creating a website”. He created a marketplace to sell drugs on, I just don’t understand the sympathy. I feel bad for low level drug dealers in jail, this guy not so much.
I would agree it could’ve been handled differently, same with every other aspect of the war on drugs. But celebrating this guy is a step too far for me.
Why are people in support of this guy?
If I buy a product, it should work properly regardless of what day I bought it.
If Nintendo can show that you knowingly promoted piracy, you are still screwed. If I recall correctly they were able to do this with yuzu because they were adding support for games that were only available through piracy, as they weren’t even publicly released yet. Dolphin obviously doesn’t have to worry about that specifically though.
They need to just pick an age and stick with it
I sincerely doubt that. I don’t doubt its poorly optimized, but it does its job. It just isn’t a job that most people here want done.
Will you people stop complaining about the switch being underpowered? Why does it have to be powerful? If you want something powerful, don’t buy it. Simple as that.
There are a lot of words and phrases that don’t make sense at all in English, so I usually don’t question things very much. Maybe I’m the weird one but I’ve never seen anyone ask about why we use the word rice.
Idk, do you think the people who are opposed to its use are just muckraking?
Idk what muckraking is, but I think those opposed to it are mostly correct in their thinking. I just think that this isn’t quite the same as other similar examples. This use of the word rice is so far detached from racism that most people don’t even know about the connection. There is no intention of racism, there is no perception of racism. I see no problem.
What could rice have to do with computer customization?
Nothing, its a completely different meaning of the word rice.
Even if it’s distanced from the original meaning the word itself implies that racist joke.
Me and everyone I know didn’t know the history of the word at all until now. We didn’t think it implied anything, we just assumed it was another stupid nonsensical English word.
It will essentially fill that need for them outside of anything Musk does short of rendering the service unavailable.
That honestly wouldn’t surprise me at this point. I can’t imagine advertisers are very happy about his terrible leadership. If he makes a few more blunders I think things could go south pretty fast. Especially with threads being a potential alternative that has a lower barrier to entry than something like mastodon, it would be a smoother transition than it would be otherwise.
Maybe its just wishful thinking, but I do think the death of twitter is a possibility.
I was under the impression he had a lot of control over spacex but less so over Tesla. Two google searches may not be the most thorough of research, but I don’t really want to devote more of my time to him.
This sums up my experience with windows pretty well
Every natural language is all of those things except used everywhere.
My experience with Linux gaming has varied pretty wildly. My old r9 290x could hardly run anything on linux. And if it did, it would run horribly compared to on windows.
Recently I upgraded to an rx 7600, and nearly everything works out of the box or with minor tweaks. And it performs similarly to windows, even better on occasion.
