The issue is that the web login requires their app. All major banks in my country have this requirement but I will have another look when the time for a new phone comes.

I moved over to mostly open source apps where possible. My main issue will be the banking apps that insist on safety net.
Graphene os is great on paper but I would like to buy a different brand than pixel like fairphone.
I have not had problems with usb so far on my fw16 but the integrated graphics 780M… My god the amd gpu drivers are a mess.
Crashes and artifacts daily. At least it is somewhat possible to contact amd and work on a fix together with them.
Thanks for the link. I just setup joplin and joplin server.
I migrated all my old samsung notes to joplin.
Sadly I still can’t replace OneNote. There is no open source alternative for an infinite canvas with proper custom server based sync that helps to resolve conflicts. Logseq looks pretty good but the server sync implementation is not open source.
Also it seems like every one note version is good at some task or has access to formatting/organization options that others can only view.
I wish there was an open source solution in a similar manner to immich (quality and organization) wise.
A good place to put persistent malware. That’s why when using docker images always mount as ro if at all possible.
Ähm. So your not gonna like this but I just connect with vscode remote-ssh and drag’n drop em from the os file explorer into the vscode one.
So long story short scp I guess.
I tried recyclearr but found configarr to be more flexible.
https://github.com/raydak-labs/configarr/
Here is my configarr config:https://github.com/raldone01/configarr_config
I believe configarr is just a superset of recyclearr.
I love fish but sadly it has no proper equivalent of set -e
as far as I know.
; or return;
in every line is not a solution.
Just for verifying accuracy and improving the product.
I had a dl380 g6 and if a non hp certified gpu was put in it would increase the baseline Fan speed to almost full. Even though the other GPUs temperature values were correctly recognised by the ILO processor.
It was ridiculous.
Maybe its better on the g7 but I wouldn’t count on it.
I once went to the computer of a class mate and opened stdio.h
and added #define while(x) if(x)
. He was so confused. 🤣
I just learned that san disk has a 10 year warranty. Today I made a claim for a 5 year old sdcard. Maybe worth a shot. (Just check with your manufacturer.)
I don’t think that’s a good idea it’s not descriptive enough in my opinion.
Immich is awesome. One of the few software purchases I feel good about.
My personal top wish is collaborative person editing and sharing the person database.
If each user could have simple custom text notes section per person that would be awesome too.
I mean that is usually the case for programming posts.
It is so annoying that one can’t ditch m$ keys and still boot windows. Sure you can sign the windows bootloader with your own keys. However it checks its own signature and just refuses to boot.
If anyone has a solution let me know.
Very similar to this tedx talk: https://youtu.be/8S0FDjFBj8o 😂
My favorite Ted talk is a Tedx talk. It has has helped me and past classmates quite a lot. I still rewatch it before giving presentations.
The quality of the content sadly often matters very little in comparison to the manner of speaking and self presentation.
The auto connect for bluethooth is really infuriating. Windows and android both don’t have options for disabling auto connect.
On linux you can only select between trust and no tust which effectively means auto connect. BUT WHY DONT THEY JUST CALL IT AUTO CONNECT.
It’s a real bummer.
