That’s an awesome story. And it really goes against what a lot of people talk about online who often say linux is harder than windows but it’s not unless you need windows or macos specific programs.

That’s such a cool story. I would love to be able to say something like that too at some point in the future.
Yeah I need read and write, I will look at posix for Ocis though.
I’ve heard of seafile but i remember something about it turned me off, ocis on the other hand sounds awesome, owncloud but written in go? I will definitely look into that and thanks for the recommendation.
That’s right I need native drive mounting into dolphin and Macos finder. Seafile doesn’t have it for any linux file Explorer which means it won’t work for me.
I think Ocis does have it though.
That sounds pretty cool, i might like to try one at some point.
Thanks for the explanation, what are your thoughts of an otholinear keyboard does it feel more ergonomic that a traditional layout?
It’s the same situation with Linux just a simple login only has very basic protection you need to encrypt your disk if you want to make sure no one can read it.
I haven’t used nextcloud but it seems frustrating that there isn’t any really good selfhosted file cloud. Nextcloud is really chunky and inefficient but it seems to be the best option despite that.
Are you sure that isn’t just food?
I always wonder, what is the purpose of two space bars? It looks amazing BTW the keycaps a beautiful.
It’s HAPPENING!
Maybe should have looked into how immutable distros work before using one. Is ostree just a package manager for immutable distros instead of using dnf or apt?
Thanks for the warning i don’t think I have any hour long videos, maybe up to 10 or 20 minutes. But that is a very weird and annoying bug.
Immich sounds so awesome I plan to start using it soon.
I guess Ubuntu when I tried to make a minecraft server a couple of years ago. I first started actually using Linux as my desktop with bazzite.
I’ve always been surprised affinity isn’t on linux I would think people looking for alternatives to adobe would also be looking for alternatives to windows so it makes sense to put them together.
I agree I honestly don’t like immutable distro’s at all because you can’t install packages the way everyone else does: via package managers. You either have to use the gui software center and if that doesn’t have to app your looking for you have to use distrobox or box buddy which still doesn’t work half the time. That’s just been my experience with bazzite as a person fairly knew to linux.
Kde works great for me, I don’t have any special hardware. I have used it with fedora and bazzite.
I guess so, lol.
If you haven’t already you should definitely try lubing them. Just search up an online guide it takes a while but it should help heaps.
