For fuck’s sake.
For fuck’s sake.
Already switched the laptop over to Mint. Desktop to follow.
Social Media is designed to be addictive. That said, isn’t the user base mostly bots at this point?
I STRONGLY recommend just going out looking for whatever forums you can find that are still active.
I’ve actually been going out of my way to look up new forums to use since the Reddit API controversy. Finding them can sometimes be a pain in the ass because search engines suck nowadays, but I’ve found a few I hang around on. I spend way more time on them than I do Lemmy.
You heard it here first, folks! Zucc says piracy is a-ok!
Shit site, but not a legal precedent we want to be setting.
Install Arch btw
Fingers crossed.
What did you expect from “The Internet of Things”?
Also, now I’m just imagining the vacuums gaining sentience and actually becoming racist.
How many times has this been announced already?
Have fun not having my money!
Oh, do you support copyright abolition, then?
I could go either way, but I don’t think “other platforms have public voting” doesn’t seem all that convincing. Who cares? I don’t care who voted on what, and I doubt most others do either.
While there are workarounds, leaving it as is at least weeds out the majority of trolls who aren’t technically inclined enough to go pull up A to see how B voted on C.
Jesus, 56. Cancer sucks.
Oh hey, Microsoft support moving away from copyright!
Dead internet here we come!
I actually went out and looked up a bunch of forums after the Reddit controversy last year. They’re slow, but I actually feel comfortable just browsing through and only posting if I feel like I can actually contribute. I would definitely recommend just going out and hunting for boards relevant to your interests.
Is it still something you can do to big sites the way people did back in the 2000’s?
Oh noes, another ad I don’t see because of ublock!
Same. Colossal pain in the ass.
