I hate to break it to you, but by Ubisoft’s terms and conditions, this is not your game. 🫤 you have never owned a copy of it.
if it’s just rudimentary GitHub stats you need, wouldn’t that be covered in the Insights views somehow?
I’ve just switched this week from SwiftKey, which was the best keyboard I have ever used. Made the switch just to abandon a piece of proprietary software, but oh boy… HeliBoard has way exceeded my expectations!
Holy crap, the quality of the generated input is incredible.
Two tools come to mind:
In general, you might want to look into CHAOSS for more details.
How about no?
The conference software used for this service is called BigBlueButton and is probably the nicest FOSS online classroom solution there is.
Newsflash: so do I. some people can’t handle a joke too well.
Also, this guy has a wife which is a record for lemmy users.
This post is unfortunately quite misleading : OpenCollective is not shutting down! The news is just that the Open Collective Foundation, a fiscal host on the Open Collective Platform, is going to be dissolved and that collectives using this fiscal host will have to transfer their funds to another fiscal host.
This is hilarious. Just the general tone of the articles in that magazine has the sort of edgy millennial pseudo-cool that we all loved back then 🤭
Not sure if there’s any less gore/horror in them, but the Wasteland games are also hugely popular post-apocalyptic RPGs with turn-based combat.
At this point, a preowned Steam Deck is so much cheaper than any next gen console might ever be. So the barrier to entry for PC gaming is even lower and from a customer perspective, we know what platform players should go for
Well, the studio that brought us TS had been closed down in 2009 already. Deep Silver had opened a new studio under that name in 2021 (admittedly employing parts of the “old gang”), which is the one we’re now seeing getting shut down.
This was a fun read! Bear in mind that this game has been 100 % multiplayer-focused, I have great memories of playing this online without ever even touching the campaign.
This is not a great comparison tbh. Unity are not distributing a resource, you could rather compare them to a company building the motor for the car you use. Even as the end customer, their product is clearly perceivable and distinguishable from competitors’ products. You don’t need to build cars to have an opinion on Unity motors and the ethics of their business. And if they fuck every contractor over and abuse their power in the market to retroactively charge additional fees for every time someone starts a car with their motor in it, of course you would be directly hit with the consequences as a customer. Therefore, it is justified to not leave this discussion to car manufacturers, but to 1. let unity motors know that they can go fuck themselves and 2. to support more ethical motor manufacturers in the future by buying cars built with them.
Honestly, I’ve been playing quite a lot of SuperTuxKart recently and it is by any standards a great game! The amount of mods and skins is just the cherry on top.
DroidRec maybe? But it seems development is no longer ongoing 🤔
