So you can’t. There are cert stores, new protocols and ciphers, and eventually u patched zero days.
I know this because I’ve been playing with a g3 powerboat and all the browsers at this point are no longer maintained to support the above things as of last year. The last person working on it gave up
I’m going to go against what you just said, even though you might be a firefighter.
Take that battery OUTSIDE AWAY FROM ANY TREES OR YOUR HOME and put it in salt water to kill it completely. The water should have so much salt in it that the salt refuses to stir in and you can see the salt at the bottom after heavy stirring meaning the water cant dilute the salt anymore. .
The salt water bath over the next two days will completely drain the battery to 0 volts at which point it is no longer dangerous.
The salt water method is the only fully safe way to handle that battery.
0.19.1 has a problem that causes higher than expected server load, as illustrated in my first post showing their utilization graphs.
As for a few months ago, “someone” was DDoSing lemmy.world almost constantly but i guess they ran out of money or got bored.
Federation takes almost no server load. It’d all the people loading images and comment threads that cause the server to slow down. Yes federation can break, especially due to unexpected code changes, but typically using a federated, lower user count site helps over all.
I don’t think you understand how a federated system works based on that comment.

They do a lot to be transparent and monitor availability.
There is an big usage jump before Xmas, I assume because of the recent lemmy version upgrade that many admins are saying uses more resources.
Give em some time, I’m sure there will be a patch soon.
Best part of the fediverse is you can just use a less popular server until things calm down.
Keep living in your made up fear.
Connect client can do this
I just got out of a sales call for copilot. 300 user minimum at 30/user…that’s on top of your E3 or E5…
Will they have an anonymous version?
Agreed, some sort of mirror, raid or zfs. Sure a raid is not a backup, but it’d certainly better to resync a new drive than to have to figure out everyth9ng that was on the drive and start downloading them all again. Assuming the original posts or torrents Eben still exist.
You’re putting all your files on a single drive? You said nas, but then singular version of the word drive.
Make sure you have multiple drives with your data, and then take that and back it up to something like backblaze if you want your files to be safe.
The other half have actually used it
I just used copilot for the first time. It made me a ton of call to action text and website page text for various service pages inwas creating for a home builder. It was surprisingly useful, of course I modified the output a bit but overall saved me a ton of time.
With the best workers wanting remote work, not sure what they expect to get from opening an office in Austin. Traffic is terrible, office space costs a ton, and Noone will apply to work in their office.
Base os install ad a template in your hypervisor. Ansible playbook with a task to spin up the VM, another task to setup network and required packages. Then other playbooks for the software/services setup.

I love voice control specifically for telling the house to warm up before I get out of bed. I don’t even have to grab my phone. I also use it almost daily to have music start playing from spotify.
