Ffs you do not get disappeared for using vpns especially personal ones. You can install vpns that circumvent firewalls as long as they are blessed by ccp and they are sold using wechat. For non compliant ones it’s the same. It’s you who misunderstands how authoritarian systems work, noone tries to nail you for doing something semi-illegal, you will be dissapeared for non-conforming not for exploiting system.

VPN’s aren’t illegal in china, and they don’t go about random people who use them. Unless you are very vocal and high profile person no one will black bag you in a country of billion people, lol.

Yeah, you can look up how to setup hysteria2 and xray. Additionally you need to understand that firewall is different in different places, in some places like big cities you can even use plain openvpn (during daytime), in other more rural places almost everything is blocked.

There is no built-in (usable) browser on ps5 nor switch, and nintendo will burn to the ground before allowing people installing their own software on ‘their’ hardware.

We’ve bought ~20 of small glinets for testing purposes there were zero problems as long the plastic shell was off, with shell on they had cooling problems, but that’s about it.

You are overthinking it, without flushing ram everything works fine. OS inside VM would just boot as normal and that’s it.

You do not need to shut down services to make snapshots, why would you?

I won’t use fs snapsots as backups especially one as poorly supported on linux as zfs. I would go with external qcow disk snapshots and they can be pretty easily automated.

Don’t fret about ssd lifespan, unless you are planning on writing tb a day they will outlive your setup. I wouldn’t personally use zfs for this, unless you have a lot of memory just laying around.

We have a temporary glitch with GitHub—probably some contributor was geolocated in a sanctioned region (no details yet). All required documents to unlock the account have been uploaded. Don’t blame Microsoft/GitHub - it is just U.S. law. Please be patient. It should be unblocked soon.
