We had a store just around the corner, where I used to live with a friend, we could rent 2 PS1 games for a month for $30 and since we would burn thru both of the games in a week usually we could return them and get 2 more for what the tax would be. Great times and my last console

I don’t care how hard to look at the (real) person is, I don’t care if they sound like Janice Joplin, I will take that over the soulless AI read script any day. I did watch a few of these AI chans, as they had stuff I was interested in, but I just can’t anymore, tone matters. I want to giggle at the real person mispronouncing words, stumbling (very briefly) over words (editing is a thing). I hope it doesn’t get to the point I can no longer tell the difference, at that point I think I just quit the tubes
Yes they are I had less issues installing then I did 15+ years ago. I’m just kicking myself for not going amd as they have good open drivers, I wish nvidia would do the same so some of the smart linux people could fix their drivers for us. The official drivers are the only ones I can use for the VR games tho, something to do with display priority and handling. Not as savvy as I once was
Sadly my VR library is missing 70 titles, but when I see the hardware poll thing come up i boot up my linux and run it. I keep hoping, and I feel this is no longer futile, that they will at least show up in my list and eventually work. Too bad I bought an RTX 4070ti super instead of an equivalent amd card, wasn’t thinking of dropping windows at the time 🤬

With my TPM chip off I do not qualify either, I guess at some point windows will upgrade without my intervention then be bricked, plz Proton make the 70 missing vr titles in my library work, you are my only hope!
My pixel 6 doesn’t “reboot” but every few hrs the lock screen changes to needing the pin code
There is a game called cyubeVR on steam and PS2VR, built from the ground up for vr. It is a great fun game with a solo dev. Highly suggest checking it out, there are quite a few videos on it and it is highly modable. It is sad that the big cos are dropping support
Got an og Vive (699.99 cdn at the time came with headset, controllers, and base stations), playing the hell out of that headset just over a year in steam VR playtime at 2 - 4 hrs a day. I have played Half-Life:VR mod (due to the age of the actual game it is my worst port experience) Half-Life 2: VR mod, Half-Life 2 ep 1 and 2 in VR (absolutely amazing) Raft:VR mod (a few bugs and a few abilities missing from flat, but overall flawless) The Forest:VR mod(excellent), and let’s not forget Valheim:VR mod.
Quest garden can be limiting but you can plug your quest (air link, ?whatever? desktop, link cable) and pretty much play anything on steam, personally have 90+ titles under my VR library (no beat saber). You can check yt for people playing these flat2vr games
I have a buddy who can’t stand 1x, he does 2x, I guess the pitch shift doesn’t bother him as much. Thanks for the reply
