im more interested in the ear buds they announced. planar drivers for $200 or the over the ear with a mic for $150 are good deals afaik.

And airplanes have systems to make sure planes don’t collide midair. I’m not sure if small private planes do however.

theres some sites that dont work with how i have my browser setup in chrome, at least i think thats what is the problem, but they work fine in edge. im not gonna use it for my main browser, microsoft already gets too much data from us all, but ill use it when chrome messes up.

I used to root all my phones a decade ago. Now I just don’t see a point to it.

I’m not trying to defend what it has become but social media can be good to keep updated or in contact with people. You’re not gonna email everyone pictures of your vacation or whatever. Or to keep up with people you don’t see nearly as often as you’d like because of, well, life. People do take it way to far and either post way too much info or take everything too serious.

thats because everyone is trying to treat ai as if its what movies promise us. its not there yet, if itll get there at all. it can be a good tool in the tool chest but its far from being the only tool. like ai might be able to speed up blood tests or screen for more things but its not gonna replace a good doctor yet. or can monitor everyone whos vitals are being monitored and can flag times for doctors to follow up on that arent life threatening that could be missed currently.

im way more worried about undersea mining than i am data centers being underwater.

ive seen in the nreal, now xreal, sub where having people from the company to talk to about issues helps. im not trying to market anything but just use an example. i doubt thats what they are going for but it can be a positive side effect.
