How grindy is the story mode? Is it like The Forest where you can go through the entire thing in ~10 hours without building a base or more like Subnautica where a base is necessary and it takes like 30 hours to complete?
howdy

I think Peertube is more of a Vimeo alternative. YouTube is built around advertising.
Dota Underlords
You’re nitpicking and biased. I win. Bye bye.
Have you tried the Caddyfile from Lemmy-Easy-Deploy?
It was 8mb then 25mb then 10mb now (for non-Nitro users)
Close Quarter Combat/Battle
The new game mode looks like the opposite of R6. The map is more open? Looks COD-like. R6 has always been CQB to me.
The interactive props are cool though.
Yeah I actually really like P4G even if it looks “outdated”. I played P3R as my introduction to the Persona series but I thought P4G had a lot of charm in its style.
I’d be interested in a remake of P1 and P2 though.
My friends and I played R6 a lot until early 2020. It was a lot of fun back then. I preferred it over CSGO because it had more strategic depth and it didn’t rely too much on aim. It was all about information gathering and learning different setups and countering the common ones.
Trying the game again last year and it was a mess. So many new operators to grind out for and a lot of them were really weird. We thought Oryx was weird already and now I come back and you can play as two robots as a single operator :/
I think the irony here is that the user-friendliness experience of Bluesky stems from it being a centralized service (in practice). I seriously doubt most people who signed up for Bluesky even understand what “decentralized social media” means.
I’m not saying Lemmy (and the greater Fediverse) can’t improve, but it’s clear that the biggest barrier for most people is the decentralized aspect itself – the core of the Fediverse – which is something one shouldn’t really “hide”.
As long as the state of social media usership demands centralized practices, then the Fediverse will forever be at a disadvantage in gaining mass adoption in my opinion.
The way of the future
I have no idea. The DLCs you can buy from Steam or Epic (or get the bundle).
This is the way. Civ 6 is so cheap when it goes on sale now. I bet it’s a more complete game than Civ 7 too but I might be wrong.
I was surprised when my friend casually brought up Pixelfed (he called it “Pixelfeed”) and Bluesky the other day.
The multiplayer FPS genre has been oversaturated for almost a decade now so I’m not surprised that this one is going away.
There are a lot of cues that happen in the game and you just kind of respond to that. I mostly play roaming supports so my brain is wired to go straight to mid after recall then look around the map to see where my presence is useful. The most obvious cues are the junglers.
Anyway, it’s kind of like flash cards. When you memorize things with flash cards, at some point you don’t really think anymore. There’s a default answer to every situation. But sometimes you get it wrong though. If you get it wrong too often, then those are bad habits.
League of Legends. I don’t even think anymore when I play.
I see. I guess it’s kind of like The Forest. The type of survival game I might enjoy.
