I’m glad for the ability to change pronouns, I know a lot of trans and non-binary people who really appreciate the inclusion, and it doesn’t impact the game in any negative ways. I think people can outgrow ignorance and bias, but it takes a significant amount of work and a willingness to change. Unfortunately, not many people see any reason to challenge their bias and bigotry so it rarely happens.

“Little Eyes” by Samanta Schweblin, a story about how a new technology connects people around the world, and the varied happy and horrific consequences. Samanta Schweblin is my new favorite author. Her best work (imo) is Fever Dream, a hallucinatory novel that feels like a fever dream, about the negative impact of some environmental issues in Argentina.

I’m currently addicted to BG3! I spent basically my entire weekend playing, and I think I’m close to the end of act 1. I’m playing a Druid.

Same! There are still a few glitches that need to be worked out, but crashing happens rarely. If the app does crash in the middle of typing something, it saves it for the next time you open the app. The creator is active and makes regular updates so I’m very happy with this app.

I do, but I have no computer science knowledge. I have no way of checking anything and have to rely on others to make sure the developer is trustworthy. I know there are people doing this, but it’s on their own time, they’re volunteering their effort. They may not be monitoring the specific app I’m using, or maybe they’ll be tired from work and won’t check the most recent update until it’s too late and a lot of people installed malware.

Maybe I’m completely wrong about this, like I said this is not my field.
