I’m happy to be more formally corrected, but this is from their pricing page.

Didn’t know Summit had gone FOSS! Thanks mate! 💙
Is this spam? The first recommendation is for an otherwise paid product that has a 100 user limit on the self-hosted option.
Mostly the ads on the homeacreen for now. I assume it’ll grow beyond that soon. It’s made by the makers of YT after all.
FWIW AndroidTV is getting worse all the time also 😭 The only assurance we have is that the TV isn’t connected and AndroidTV is in a separate box.
You’ll want to get off Roku soon, they’re already testing preroll ads for the home screen.
I think the replies in this thread are doing a good job making OP’s point honestly 😓
I think it was lamentation rather than complaint.
Right!? I was half expecting a maintainer somewhere to start adding some extra recommends or something when it really started to get grim. Happy Plasma user now 🚀
Are you sure the db is identical on the new server (rsync -a
or similar)? The error suggests the database is not even being recognized as such.
I think this is the first time I’ve noticed a lemmynsfw user on another instance! Hello there! 👋
Oh that was my first choice, but the load was pretty high once I turned everything up to my satisfaction lol 😭
Username checks out 👍 😀
No actually, it’s a huge pain in the butt process on Plasma, but the built-in ones weren’t fun enough 😀
Doesn’t seem to matter what I do, the card simply refuses to go to sleep. And there’s no option to switch it off in the bios 😭
I cold-boot daily because fucking nvidia 👺
For anyone interested in reading more on this type of thing, the colloquial term seems to be “SMM panel” where SMM is “social media marketing”. EN Wikipedia has nothing of course, but DE has this: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/SMM-Panel.
I don’t see what you’re describing 🤷 Soon only appears once on the page and not in this context for me.
I do notice that the product comparison chart lists the same 100 user limit for self-hosted.
