I found the opposite, it had very little grinding required. It does assume that you’ll do most of the side quests, but i found that by doing all quests available at my level or under that i was always overleveled for the bosses. It does warn you that its intended to be difficult though, with an option to turn down the difficulty. I also found the side quests to be genuinely interesting and diverse, and not repetitive or grindy at all. Its a long game for sure, but i never spent any time just grinding. I ran past most monsters once i had cleared each area for the first time and they respawned.

Afaik famous peoples accounts were known only by reputation and if they posted some form of image verification publicly, but there wasnt any identity verification going on on reddits end. If you saw an account claiming to be someone, you didn’t believe it was actually them unless you could check it out and verify their identity in some way.

The steam deck has way more potential, but CAN be just as simplr as only ever launching and downloading games through gaming mode. The parent downloads 5stean deck verified games and then all the kid has to do is use the joystick to switch between them. But then it also has the potential to be a learning experience or teaching tool as the kid grows. But the steamos gaming mode is dead simple to navigate and a child could definitely use it.

Idiots who have never used a steam deck and are obviously scared by the word linux in this thread. You can easily use the steamdeck without ever leaving gaming mode and with absolutely no troubleshooting needed. Its as simple as browsing steam, pressing download, and pressing play. I would absolutely give it to a child with a few games preloaded, and they would be perfectly fine to use it. The UI is way more friendly than the switch one also. Everytime ive tried to play a game on switch with friends theres been some update that takes ages, the Ui is slow and clunky, and connecting joycons is an absolute pain. What troubleshooting do you think is necessary to run a game from steam lmao?

Most of those look worse in the bottom pictures tbh. A couple of the top ones look a little too bright and washed out, but the bottom ones just look low contrast and dark.

I don’t know if you’ve tried crosscode, and its been a (long) while since iv3 played chrono trigger, but from what i remember of playing it they gave me very much the same vibes, and i was totally blown away by crosscode. Most fun ive had playing a game in a long time, with a surprisingly engaging story.

Im almost done playing crosscode and i was floored away by how engaging and fun it is. I never thought id invest 60+ hours in it so willingly and eagerly. Honestly the best time ive had in gaming in a long time.
