It’s going to be just like my pocket chip and die quickly after in terms of software support. Where I had to run my own hacks and also run archive debian repositories for the hardware itself only for the flash to die a year afterwards. I can say though it was the coolest device I had and hacking it was really neat especially with the UI and scaling apps on the device.
I would start to stock pile food myself if I had that much money free and buy a new GPU. That’s like also a months rent here as well plus some utilities and a car payment.
Oh really thats neat! Well I hope it comes here in the states or else my current iPhone will probably be the last I’ll ever use once the battery degrades enough or it no longer gets support. I really don’t want to have to pay 20 dollars for a signing service and a abunch of outdated apps or be tethered to a computer to use JIT ever again and I would rather just use my android phone for everything.
Good news is you’d probably be able to run a torrent client or anything else that doesn’t require JIT code in order to function.
Doubt Apple will allow JIT to run on their specific region sideloading.
I’ve legitimately lost hundreds of dollars of content without even getting refunded; So consider yourself lucky! To get a gift card instead; ANYWAY I now pirate all my things minus idk I guess my video game consumption but even then I had the luxury to pirate shit I bought on steam just to have it again. In the end of the day though you don’t really own anything unless you own it physical and even then its still illegal to use makemkv to dump your blurays and dvds onto your nas and watch them outside of the physical media they were put on. But I guess thats just living in the future for ya!
These programs are actually really cool and I un-ironically want to use them.
I have that exact same SanDisk player as well rocking rockbox firmware and it’s now my portable game console at work.
