Also that tool can only be used by specifically malicious instances whose goal it is to snoop and expose all votes. Those instances can and should be blocked.

I don’t see much point in making GUI apps for desktop nowadays, especially since desktop usage is in decline compared to smartphones. If you still want to, I’d go with iced, which is in rust, and well designed.

I’d recommend learning either android jetpack-compose, or iOS app dev.

A good intro book to western philosophy is Will Durant - the story of philosophy. Very easy to read, and some chapters are insightful and very entertaining.

It’s an attempt to humanize philosophy it by focusing each chapter on one important philosopher, their life, and the historical context their ideas sprang from.

I removed this because it has nothing to do with linux specifically, and as expected, it brought out a lot of people defending the use of this historically racist term, and /asablackman’ing it.

We desperately need an open-source obsidian. I like Markor a lot, but it has no WYSIWYG view, which is really nice to have in addition to source mode with markdown.

I submitted it to f-droid, but it takes a month or two to get up there. You can add the izzyondroid repo to your f-droid client if you want this, and updates to all other apps a lot faster.
