I use vifm because of bulk rename, it literally opens a vim buffer with each file name as a separate line. Just think about the possibilities… (I know this is possible somewhere else, but I haven’t found anything similar)
I’m just another nerd.
I’m a computer enthusiast. I love retro gaming, retro hardware and specially old thinkpads. I also love using/creating & contributing to FOSS. I’m a Linux fanboy aswell. Also a proud user of Fedora Kinoite.

Rnote is pretty good for handwritten notes, the canvas can be paged too.
The government that tried to ban encryption? Yes of course https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2022/05/eu-commissions-new-proposal-would-undermine-encryption-and-scan-our-messages https://www.wired.com/story/europe-break-encryption-leaked-document-csa-law/
The government won’t regulate big tech if that doesn’t give them any benefit. Governments want to control big tech to gain more power.
Man that prayer was fkng funny xD, specially mentioning Torvalds and Stallman is a gigachad move
This will be an extremely hot take for some: Almost all recent online games are complete garbage that solely exist to make profit and create addicted user bases and they hurt what videogames truly are, a revolutionary and interactive form of art.
0.A.D., Veloren and Xonotic are my favorites. Also Sonic Robo Blast 2 is freaking awesome
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim has an amazing OST
It’s the closet thing there is to Discord while being open source. It’s not federated though and it still doesn’t support E2EE at the moment. If you want to give it a try, visit https://app.revolt.chat
Welcome!
Dark Souls Remastered should run just fine, one of the greatest games ever. Also make sure you play it with a controller!
Yup, that’s a problem
I know, you can still self host it tho, don’t know how good is that option.
Yeah, the blackout for subs like these is a bad thing for us users. This type of sub is a very valuable asset for everyone, since a lot of technical support on many things, we can only find it in these subs.
I don’t really know why they don’t make this a permanent blackout, or at least an amount of days enough to make Reddit lose a significant amount of money.
They are already shitting on their users, recently they disabled permanent invite links for non-comminuty servers, if you want to get permanent invite links, you need to make your server a community, which I think it will make it public (not sure). In the other hand, Discord is still a giant cesspool of malware.
I use Fedora Kionite. I was using Silverblue previously but Plasma 5.27 got me. I also tend to switch to Arch sometimes to play with tiling window managers.
For chat servers in Revolt it’s literally the same as Discord, just click the add button
Revolt is it’s own thing, it’s not Matrix. You just create an account at https://app.revolt.chat and start using it, just like Discord. With Matrix you can do the same at app.element.io, you don’t need to host your own server, even though that is possible.
Tutanota is good in any other language other than Spanish (and maybe Portuguese), my native language is Spanish and when I have to tell someone my email address, it sounds weird
