Evolution is really great. I was able to make Kmail work, so because it integrates best into Plasma, I am using that. But setting it up was not a fun experience.
Anything decent without bloatware, with a propper non-MediaTec processor and a long support time with security patches?
That sounds super fun. I have to check that out. Thank you!
Gothic (2001). Still a really cool game!
Hey hey, some of us here are hoping for the 2060s and 70s to still be nice enough!
Yeah, absolutely. Just for me, this feels like a typical AA game. Indie is more like Noita, Mouthwashing or Vampire Survivors. But you are right, there are no definitive borders or anything.
I don’t know about that. I am saying, that I wouldn’t count It Takes Two as an indie title.
That is no indie game.
It’s you!
As everybody writes here: How good switches work is highly subjective.
I feel the same and switched to early and slightly heavier tactiles, the Gateron Bananas Low Profile and the Gateron Baby Kangaroos. I like the Bananas and absolutely love the BKs! Maybe linears give you an edge, when you a really into competitive gaming, but tactiles are totally okay for that, too. The Browns don’t sound or feel nice in any way, but with their small bumb, they are perfectly fine middle-of-the-ground switches.
Just one thing: Clickies are NOT fine for gaming. Only crazy people use them for that.
Nothing happened. It is the same as always. There was no time, when graphics (and audio) weren’t the hottest shit to talk about. We did that in the 90s in ads, game magazines and in the schoolyard. And the people before us did the same. The buzzwords back then were different but that’s all.
Maybe stop watching youtubers, if that annoys you? Idk.
I don’t want to use Windows, but play on my Linux Gaming PC. This works really nice because of the work, Valve does on Proton and gives back to Wine. GoG is cool, but they don’t help in regards to this. The Epic fucks (hehe) are actually hostile towards Linux, so before I would buy there, I would pirate their games or just not play the game at all.
When the Steam enshittification starts, I will be one of the first to say fuck them, too.
What is your problem with the price related to the length of the game?
So you know that really neat trick, where you don’t buy the newest games and you can get most of them for a few bucks?
Don’t worry, the Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver remasters are also coming to PC
I played the original for a few hours when it was still fresh, but lost interest. Maybe with better controls …
After the tutorial area the game opens up and becomes really great. A bit like with The Last of Us which had some really bad first hours.
Ducky One 3 TKL + Logitech G305 or the 8BitDo Pro 2, depending on the genre.
I don’t know if there is any love for Ducky here in the community, but I am very happy with my One 3 with Baby Kangaroo switches. You can program makros on it without any software, which is pretty nice. No separate keys, though. You would have to use combinations.
