What’s MS’s plan after this? Everyone I know that uses Windows/M365 hate it more with every passing day and is looking to leave.
I really don’t want to be in tech support in 2029 when they kill off old outlook. There will be blood on that day.

brb chucking my batteries in the oven
it’s a cheap and easy thrill
I just want my games to work man. I have a huge library of weird and old games that I have spent years tinkering with to get them to run reliably on modern windows, I honestly cannot be arsed having to re-fix everything on Linux. WINE is not perfect and Proton doesn’t support everything.
Yeah I had to google ‘system restore point but for Linux’ haha
There’s a reason people who do this are called ‘tripfags’
Even people on 4chan think they’re pathetic haha
We support a financial institution that uses ~30MB Excel sheets with thousands of calculations and they wonder why they can’t send it via email or why it has issues when 10 people edit it at once
Just use a goddamn database
God I hope there’s some engineer somewhere at X quietly sabotaging all of their services.
Should plant a timed zip bomb on the servers that autoruns on reboot
Indeed, how could I forget quite possibly the best game Bungie ever put out
Halo 1, 2, 3 & Reach
Oh for fucks sake, I finally find a decent alternative and they do this shit.
I switched to Proton mail and haven’t looked back since
Yeah it kind of surprised me too. HDMI and USBC is good for modern servers, but we have plenty of 15-year-old servers in production and even a lot of new servers still use VGA.
Lol get hacked idiot
BeamNG.
I just can’t stop crashing cars into things in slow motion.
My last cert renewal was $20 for 3 years. That’s less than a dollar a month, not exactly breaking the bank.
I’d love for them to explain how, if anything the short cert validity and constant re-checking of the domain seems more secure than traditional CAs
I’ve still yet to see a decent generalized use case for AI, it just feels like an extremely complicated and energy intensive solution desperately looking for a problem to justify it’s existence.
I work at a national IT support company talking to hundreds of windows users every week, and the general sentiment is that Windows 11 is unnecessary, new outlook is literally the Antichrist and people are sick of being charged more and more every year for crap they don’t want or need.
Just l8ke I still see 2012R2 servers in the wild, Windows 10 isn’t going away anytime soon.
