Yea definitely. I started tinkering with my first server in 2020 and used an ewaste dell tower with an i7 3770 (8 years old at that point) and an old rx460 I had laying around. As others mentioned power consumption was way worse than modern hardware. But I had at one point a half dozen people streaming jellyfin 1080 content from it with no hiccups at all. That said I was running on linux, not sure how it would do if you run windows.
Right now I’m using a low power pc to run my server, again an old ewaste dell micro pc with a 5th or 6th gen i5 and no dedicated gpu. Still no problem streaming to my partners and I’s phone/tablet simultaneously. Again, running linux.
Just pick something off the too be read shelf and get at it. If it’s not the vibe put it down and pick up something else. No need to overthink
The Hollow Places was excellent. Listened to the audiobook on a drive to a camping trip deep in the woods and it was the best worst vibe for the occasion.
Clementine or strawberry for me
I’d say some clothes had stat effects. Left outfit gives +2 Charisma and -1 Dex. Right outfit gives -3 Charisma but short rests have the effect of long rests
Is this my sign to do another final fantasy ix run?
Hell of a streak. Great job
I have a very similar experience as you, using the internet less as recreation and more as a tool definitely helped my mental health
The internet just isn’t a good space to spend a lot of time. It’s mostly corporate controlled and they’ve found anger drives interaction online so most things you read are designed to be upsetting. I’ve drastically cut down on my internet usage over the last few years and while I do spend more time doing things I enjoy, due to not being online, I’ve found that going back on reddit or something similar can send me right back into a negative headspace for the rest of the day like when I was online more. I just think that most parts of the internet are miserable places to be.
I don’t remember it always being this way either. Back when small formus were the norm I found the internet to be much less hostile overall. Not that there weren’t jerks and chuds online back then, but there wasn’t the profit incentive to drive engagement over all else
Good
ICE is the reason the 2nd ammendment exists. The only good cop is a dead cop
My m9 and s20 respect my brightness settings on the lock screen. Have you gone through the settings to see if something is forcing your lock screen to stay full brightness?
