I am here to chew bubble gum and kick ass, and I’m all out of bubble gum.

Zorin is great! but, if gaming is really important i’d recommend dual booting so you can switch back and forth. eventually you will just let your windows os collect dust

RIF no longer showing content for me :( It’s over. 6 years of being my most used app on my phone
Thank you!
It’s still one of the first things I install
The only smart objects I have are some light bulbs. I think, some processes are good to automate and put software in control of, and some things I want to have explicit control over (I.E. Door locks, Safe locks, AC settings, Heating). Technology can break in fantastical ways, but a lock should just freaking work.
Github desktop is the only way I know how to clone my private repo. I do not understand how to clone my private repos through CLI.
Yes! mandatory usb C and replaceable battery, and i’d like the 3mm headphonr jack to also be a standard 😁
Ive been learning for a year. I just want to get change careers because ive hit a cap in my earnings in my current one. The past year has been doing a bunch of fun python projects and javascript, and soaking in as much as I can.
Currently, working on codelabs and learning jetpack compose with Kotlin. It has been very fun learning this and a week in.
i gotta get out of this call center, but im ignoreing all the noise and following what makes me excited to learn, and right now thats android development lol.
Elon’s next tweet: “Squatters Rights! Very Interesting!! We are looking into it!!”
Yes! An example: I needed to start a journal to write my thoughts, therapist’s orders. Also wanted to learn kivy and write a basic app for android. So I wrote a little journal app for myself to make me want to journal, and i learned the basics of kivy framework! Sorry its not a rust example
I will second this. I really enjoyed learning core game dev concepts using pygame and Ursina engine for small 3d projects.
Sure I had fun, but was it good for people? Communities of people did good things, not Reddit. Reddit was a great source for hate speech, propaganda, and ads. People did their best to be good in spite of the noise.
Reddit needs to die. People will find each other again, we always do.
This is pleasing to me
