TotK was not worth 80$.
Should’ve been an add on to BotW for 40$
Or if you never had either, both as a “complete edition” for 100$ is fine too.

Pretty sure it released on both platforms at the same time, as far as I’m concerned any games that show up on GoG with no DRM take a bit of effort from GoG to actually verify and host the installers, more so when the contracts expire and they have to delist them and try to get them back
Does God of War count?
I know it came to pc as a whole but it’s available on GoG as well
From the video during a cinematic sequence: “there’s somebody talking but I muted that part”
The visuals are nice but cmon, you can’t play it with no sound :/
Happy to see GameInformer back
As for games: two point museum and nordhold
2point Museum has been a blast with all the commentary, announcements and fun descriptions and nordhold scratches that tower defence with meta progression itch
The same bolt. Put it in. Run through the QA test (which is just Bobbie trying to rip it off with his bare hands). If Bobbies’ hands bleed before the panel comes off, they mark the test as passed, remove the bolt and move on to the next one.
Maybe not you personally but whoever sees this and thinks “hey maybe I can try” this is to encourage them to take that first step
If you’re one of the ones that are already trying, all I can say is continue to persevere, seldom does it not yield results, even if not necessarily noticeable at a moments glance
The beautiful thing about the fediverse is that you can be the change you want to see in the world
Also works as aromatherapy.
Personally I have a pair of the cloud alpha, and had them for about 2 years now, they’re very good for what they are
I can’t speak to their other cheaper headsets but with this one I got, I feel that the quality between friends who had the version before it and the ones that were purchased by a colleague last month don’t really differ much in terms of quality.
Again, I can’t speak to their stinger line or other models. Maybe those were affected more by the HP acquisition.
If you like the headset, I suggest just getting the same one, wait for a sale or check price trends, these typically go on sale fairly often, be it the 2 or 3’s, the battery life is good, they’re fairly comfortable and if you have no specific reason to change to something else, using the same model will net you more or less the same experience as you had before
Let me start by saying that I agree that it’s a company that’s out there to make profit by any means and that they’ve been a huge pile of shite.
But this isn’t virtue signalling.
Virtue signalling by definition means preaching something you don’t practice.
They didn’t only say they’re open sourcing it, they actually did.
They might be doing it to try and “buy” some goodwill from the general populous, that’s possible, but they at least did something tangible to that end.
Would’ve been cool if they released the assets too in addition to the code but I recon there might be reasons why that was not possible.
Absolutely this and wait a year for the DLCs to release with it
Put that shit on GoG and maybe I’ll consider buying it.
DRM is still drm, be it one layer like steam or two layers with extra 3rd party account requirements.
Necrosmith
With you on this, regardless of the method used, no app has any business running or snooping outside of the container that it was set up in. And this doesn’t just apply to desktop operating systems, mobile and entertainment consoles too.
I’d even take it a step further, that nonsense shouldn’t be on my machine in the first place.
Want to run anticheat stuff? Run it on your own crappy servers at your own cost and processing power. Live detect it through packets that are sent to you and are being processed, be it voice or input.
Whatever happens on my machine is none of your business.
4 in the front, top and bottom on each side, one in the back, top left. (Top right back would be where the filter would go, if you have it, and the bottom back right will have the buffer. Bottom Left has cabling so clearance isn’t very good there)
Be careful with the spool holders/mounts as they’re not really interchangeable due to the sagging clearance of the spools and the floor
There’s already a few collected guides out there for all the parts you’d need to print to make it work, assuming you don’t want some fancy custom parts as extras or have a custom box you’d wanna leverage
Humidity sensor probably gonna need to move, and need a new mount point printed
Be careful with the tube routing, too long or too tight turns will make the mmu and extruder struggle, had to redo mine twice so if you’re planning to freestyle or experiment I do recommend getting extra tubage
That’s about all I got off the top of my head, if there’s extra stuff I might add it in later
My enclosure has the MMU3 and all 5 spools crammed in there, very space efficient
I’m also gonna cram the filter in there when I get around to it.
This new one can’t seem to support more than a single spool on the side tho
If there’s a grace period, perhaps, however:
So only the DRM free games will remain, and only the installed ones at that. Anything that wasn’t will be lost to the wind the moment the distribution service or storage (yours or theirs) bits the dust…
After reading some of the reviews, it would appear that you can’t play it offline on steam, you have to be logged in, which is dumb considering there’s a DRM free version that works without an internet connection
The “convenience” feels like a downgrade.
The complementary steam key is cool though.
