Looks nice. Could you share your wallpaper ?
4-5 years old for sure by now.
Tbf at that same time resolutions and asset quality was much lower.
Interesting. I still have a super old K70 lying around that’s fully functioning
Never had such experience. Granted haven’t used their stuff in a while anymore but the keyboards I had before did not break ever.
Could you be a bit more precise what you mean by standoffs ? I imagine people will have different idea what you are talking about.
Do you mean gaskets that will be placed between the pieces of your keyboard?
More power to you. I alwqsw wonder how people manage with 40% keyboards
Oh yeah that sounds better for the umlauts. I will give it a try
Nice to hear that. Question is do I keep my iso de boards long term or will I exchange them for ANSI ones.
I guess could have figured that out. To be fair the lower case ß is big enough that it fits into full caps words like STRAßE. Imo not much difference to STRAẞE. But that’s subjective obviously and a fair complaint to miss that.
Yes exactly. I mostly do home office and recently switched to Kailh Box navies on my main keyboard. It’s great for typing but don’t want to game with it. And taking off all keycaps and switches is not only tedious but also not great for longevity I assume.
For what do you need upper case ß though? It doesn’t exist in any words
Nice to know. I’m also an ISO-DE user. I assume you use standard US ANSI keycaps and then in either the OS or Firmware you make the EurKEY binds for the modifiers ?
So far I have been having US international in Windows Setup. Seems to work okay ish so far but I don’t type German that offen. Mostly coding and English.
Different shape return needs getting used to and constantly mistake where the “?” Key and braces are.
I will look into EurKEY thanks for the reply already.
Including the keycaps ?
Late to the “party” but I have multiple because I don’t want to carry one all the time when I work at home/office. In addition to that it’s nice to have some variation in looks and feel. Some days I enjoy very heavy switches. Other days I want to have lighter switches.
I rotate between a Keychron Q1, Keychron Q3 and GMMK Pro.
