I realise i must be an edge case but i think my steam account of 10+ years is positive money wise. Got thousands of hours in the same few games and sold my old €100 CS inventory for about €500 PayPal when the market boomed.

That’s true, never thought about how many times Ive used the registry to do something when the ui doesn’t work, eg forcing games into exclusive fullscreen or getting acces to old features in the Nvidia control panel.

Still my gaming pc “needs” to be windows because of the games i play. Either be it kernel level AC or not getting stretched Res + 280hz gsync to work.

Also doesn’t lag on an overclocked switch, the V2 and oled are really downgraded by keeping the memory clock the same as on the v1 Edit: only mem oc is needed, no extra voltage

Eh I tried it but it’s rather shit imo: sbmm rampant, guns have 0 recoil and smgs are effective on full auto till 200m, vehicles feel like plastic toys and accelerate way too quickly.

I’ve bought and repaired quite a few broken pcs over the years, and anytime it’s an Alienware that’s not starting up it usually means the motherboard has burned out and usually taken the CPU with it.

Mostly because they use the intel stock cooler on an i7 and then make that singular fan also pull double duty as exhaust in an itx sized case, without having heatsinks on any of the vrm or PSU components.

I mean if it’s an Alienware good chance something has burned out.
