Just got an email from proton today about their “lifetime deal” for proton pass I currently use bitwarden and Firefox relay but I’ve been debating trying to drop my Gmail account and switch everything to my proton account. Thinking it would be silly to pay Firefox $12 a year just for relay when I can get that and more from proton for the same price.

All of that to say how exactly does the email alias work and can I set a custom email subdomain to just have an alias get created whenever an email is sent to the email I give someone without me having to go manually create it?

I have a second account on lemdro.id. It’s smaller and mostly android focused but its my main account most days. If world is having issues I don’t even think about it I just switch over 😂

I know the feeling. I hate Netflix with a passion but my SO uses it. I have a Plex server full of stuff and constantly adding and showed her how. I cancel Netflix every month though 😂 can usually make it a day or 2 passed when it was supposed to renew before she uses it again and resubscribes.

Count me in on the group. Have been a family subscriber for awhile. Daughter is 7 and autistic so when an ad pops up she always installs the games then they are horrible and piss her off or she wants me to spend money on it because they force it down your throat. Easier to just give Google some money and not have to deal with it.

Yeah I would think if anything this is more sustainable because you can just easily swap the parts that need upgrading instead of having to scrap the whole laptop.

Never heard of them before this but the name and sold out had me curious so I looked them up. If I was in the market for laptop this would for sure be my top choice. I greatly prefer my desktop and anything I can’t do there I just do on my phone so everytime I get the itch for a laptop I regret buying it because it ends up just sitting.

And I still wish there were an “open protocol” so that I could use the steam overlay to chat with a buddy playing elden ring on her xbox while I play trepang2 on my PC.

I’m 99.99% sure that discord released an xbox app so you can chat on discord cross platform now. Haven’t used an xbox in ages though.

Can confirm that Google will do this for you. Also, I switched to Bitwarden and Firefox last year so most of these passwords have either been changed or I haven’t been on the site in years and don’t much care and im not actually this exposed anymore 😂😂

Thats fair. I didn’t really even get into Reddit until 2012. So I probably never noticed plus I mostly browsed on Sync on my phone and never really dealt with the website itself which imo is where things really went down hill.

Thanks for asking this. This is something I’ve been serious about for awhile. Turns out while it’s expensive in the grand scheme of giant website it’s not that expensive money wise. Though it is very time expensive.
