Could be useful for RimWorld. Factorio maybe.

I’m on IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021. As far as I’m aware it’s up to date, and if not I don’t really use my PC for modern games anyway. Still good to know though.
Windows 10 LTSC is supported until 2032 or so. I’ll be avoiding upgrading for a long time.
On launch it was surprisingly playable on Stadia. My first playthrough was entirely on Stadia.
Legend of Zelda: The Windwaker. Those graphics were slammed at the time for being cartoony, but they hold up even now. Meanwhile, games that were going for realism at the time look like ass in comparison to modern realistic graphics. And today’s will suck compared to next year’s and so on.
Last release 10 years ago, is the autobuild much further ahead in development? Last time I tried openomf it was super janky, ended up reverting to dosbox and the original game.
Blaze way down the rebel path! Death to corpos.
It didn’t before?
Windows has been alternating between good and crap for decades. ME, crap. XP, good. Vista, crap. 7, good. 8/8.1, crap. 10, good…ish. 11, steaming feces. 12 will probably be at least half decent.
Perhaps Albion Online for a similar kind of game?
Super Mario Bros 2 did the one you’re talking about. I think Mario 64 onwards as well. However, the one OP is talking about is common in Half-Life.
Turns out people don’t wanna pay console/PC prices to play games on their mobile devices. Who knew.
Been charging my phone overnight for years. Battery health is 100% and I never have to worry about charging.
Our table always drinks coffee during a session regardless of time of day. As for snacks, whatever looks appealing from the local dollar store.
That is, if you’re still using Google search…
What’s a viable alternative? Bing seems to be just as rah rah AI as Google, DDG gives me oranges if I search for apples… if there is an actually useful search engine out there that isn’t actively in the process of becoming enshittified, I would absolutely love to know.
When Conker’s Bad Fur Day is available with unlocked resolution and widescreen, let me know.
Good thing Ubuntu 24.04 LTS comes out tomorrow. I’ll be doing a reinstall on my machine and sticking with it until the next LTS release in two years.
Seriously though, who asked for photorealistic graphics? If people agreed on a reasonable target, we could just have games at a reasonable size and cost, hardware upgrades wouldn’t need to be so insane, and teams could be put on other important things like, I dunno, making sure the game works instead of just looking pretty.
