Right but this is preorder. How often does a preorder break even for Apple? How does this income compare to the size of normal preorders?

That’s true but I’m excited about the future of laptops. Some of the specs are getting really impressive while keeping low power draw. I’m currently jealous of what Apple has accomplished with literal all day battery life in a 14inch laptop. I’m hopeful some of the AMD chips will get us there in other hardware.

We’re in strong whaboutism territory though. We can look to regulate and fix gambling in gaming without having to examine every regulation problem out there. I think we all agree that gambling mechanics in games are not healthy for people and currently face almost no rules at all.

Many of these are regulated and require disclosures to the user. I’d like to see win chances for each item tier disclosed as part of opening a crate. They do this in other countries.

Food items require ingredient lists and nutritional information and are subject to many regulations as food in general. Many countries tax sugary items with little nutritional value. Alcohol requires ABV displayed on the bottle and is heavily regulated behind ID laws. Porn probably has the laziest end user regulations but other regulations have happened to prevent abuse within the production of porn.

As a current Twitter user I would say there’s actually a large void between normal ads and whatever the hell I’m getting served on that platform these days.

I’d really advise against forcing all code contributions to be copyrighted to you. It doesn’t send a great message to contributors. It also gets murky if any libraries are used.

This feels like it was written by someone who hasn’t done sysadmin of a Windows network in a long time. Everything is online and is almost always one click now. Provisioning, removing permissions, updating email filters, adding users. Each item is so much easier now than it used to be. I loving running my PopOs install but let’s not pretend that SysAdmin is the 90s nightmare it once was.

Very true. Also the degradation due to installed programs hasn’t been a thing for some time. Even if something does happen you can refresh without losing any data very easily these days.

VNC would not work for your needs.

I’ve had success in this set up using TeamViewer (over internet) or No machine (local network).
