Until there’s some weird problem and the only way to solve it is to copy some dudes code from StackExchange and pray that it isn’t actually a harmful script.
Today, I had a weird issue: A program I worked on for hours would compile and do the (test-) output it was supposed to do. But if I’d declare and initialize another variable (unused), it would be stuck in an endless loop.
It would only happen with an initialized variable, not with simply declared variables.
Took me until this evening in my bed to realize that I probably am using another uninitialized variable somewhere in my code and that’s the source of this bug.

Try selecting all languages in your settings (by holding down ctrl).
ReVanced doesn’t really require frequent updates. After modifying the YouTube app, I disable auto updates and keep using it until something doesn’t work properly (usually ads reappear)- Happens maybe every 4-5 months for me.
For example, the YouTube version I’m using right now is 18.23.35 from June 10th, while the newest version that can be patched with ReVanced is 18.35.44. But since I haven’t seen any issues, I didn’t even bother to check for updates. Only your comment made me check and realize that I can update it.
