It’s a larger-scale online FPS (50v50 maps) and a single bullet will kill you even up to great distances. There is no rushing in; that will just get you killed. You need to work as a team and advance with a plan to really get a win.

A lot of people will recommend Kobo readers, but also look into Pocketbook readers. I have their Basic Lux, which is a barebones eReader with a black and white screen. Even though it’s lower screen size and resolution, I use it for manga and I think it looks great. They have color ereaders, and some that even run on android (but that takes away from battery life).

Honestly, I think the market is so saturated with superhero media (movies, games, tv shows) that anything that’s not at the top is at the bottom. I kinda know that Green Arrow is a superhero just from what I’ve heard and seen in other superhero stuff, but that’s about it. Most people that aren’t really into the superhero genre won’t bat an eye unless they market it as the next best AAA game, and then if it falls short of that it’s a bust.

Edit: it may be better off as an indie-style, lower budget game that the fans can get into without the producers having to risk a whole lot, but with the whole Marvel/DC stuff they seem to have huge budgets and bigger profit expectations.

I thought it was a really nice change. They kept the ATB system all the older games had, and it didn’t break between overworld and battle screens constantly, making for a seamless transition between the two.

Risk vs reward. I could see reddit swinging either way depending on which they think smells like more money.

Probably because OF gets a lot of their business through promoting on Reddit.

Uh oh I have 517 hours in Planetside 2. That’s only counting Steam game time, and not using the standalone client before I played on Steam or time spent in the closed beta.

I have almost 1,000 hours in Final Fantasy XIV and I have only finished the main game and first expansion. Although I mainly played before the first expansion came out and got back into it in 2023.

Other games include: World of Tanks Blitz with 755 hours on Steam, not counting mobile; Lord of the Rings Online with 714 on Steam, not counting standalone client before it was on Steam; Elite Dangerous with 687 hours; Star Wars The Old Republic with 572 hours on Steam, not counting the standalone client before it was on Steam; Elden Ring with 360 hours; Mount & Blade Bannerlord with 180 hours.

Honorable mention: The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind on original XBox. I don’t know how many hours I sunk into that, but it was a favorite of mine.

Dead communities or Bot communities. Pick one.

There’s a few smaller communities on reddit that I like that don’t have a presence here, which is unfortunate. I feel ya.

Reddit is only good for massively reposted memes at this point. Any real communities with any semblance of civility are better on Lemmy, in my opinion, thanks to Reddit’s policy of shooting themselves in the foot.

Edit: even with memes, I’ve found Lemmy to be the better option.

It’s almost as if being publicly traded is bad for the stability and longevity of a company. Who would have thought?
