Answer: turns out it was worth $10.

I just keep a numbered list on the Notion app and Google a random number generator. When I add new books to the list, I put them at the top so it keeps the titles rotating.
I use a random number generator to select my next read from my tbr.

We love Wingspan. Meadow is pleasant.
Just One was a great game for 4 people. Three people have to get the fourth person to guess a particular word. They each write down a one-word hint. If any two (or more) players write the same word hint, they don’t get to show that word to the guesser. It’s a lot of fun when you see the different ways people interpret words to come up with hints and how two (or more) words can work together to make you think of the answer.
Thanks for sharing. If anyone wants to buy it from this bookstore all the proceeds go to help Gazans.
I keep an ever expanding TBR. Every time I’m ready for a new book I use a random number generator to tell me what’s next. Keeps things interesting and eliminates analysis paralysis. I completely agree with the suggestion to ditch books you’re not enjoying. Life is too short for bad fiction.
Tony Stark created likeability with a box of scraps in a cave!
I would like the option to make it public on my community. I have asked people not to downvote amateur bakers for just trying to improve their skills but some assholes don’t listen.
Tangentially related, but you might enjoy Margaret Atwood’s Year of the Flood trilogy.
I haven’t had a problem reviewing after 30 days.
This was my exact experience and I couldn’t figure out how to make it end. Was I supposed to guess which brand? Or was it something picky like a microwave oven?
Check out A Half-Built Garden by Ruthanna Emrys. A bunch of US citizens get so fed-up with the looming collapse of the planet, they form a bunch of socialist collectives who rely on the internet to function. It’s like a cross between reddit and Next Door. Problems are discussed, solutions proposed and voted on, information readily shared. These communities just focus on taking the best care they can of their own people and their corner of the world. Also there are aliens.
In thelast month, I’ve had to rehome myself from reddit and Evernote. I’m not eager to move anything else right now.
