I’d like nintendo to not have a single scrap to do with it.

amazing. the very first line told me everything I need to know about what kind of person you really are.
“those trans people don’t act the same way as me, so they’re obviously wrong.”
grow up, man. not everyone is going to agree with your weird victim-obsessed ideals.
in my friend groups, quite a few people are binging hogwarts legacy at the moment.
most of them are trans. nobody is outraged. they just have jk blocked on twitter. they’re still potter fans.
there’s an obsessive hate in a lot of trans communities that nobody talks about. the “you like this book series so you’re a terf!” type mentality is really tiresome.
right? there’s more outrage than is really worth it. just don’t participate in it if you don’t like it. instance blocking is a thing now on lemmy I’m fairly sure.
mine as well. I had a gba sp that I used until the plastic showed under the paint from wear and the hinge no longer clicked.
loved that console.
the article lists a source. Game Watch. Translated from Japanese to English.
“Cumulative domestic sales of Nintendo’s game console “Nintendo Switch” series exceeded 33.34 million units. It exceeded the record for the Nintendo DS series of 32.99 million units, making it the best-selling game console in history in Japan.”
This is much easier if you read the article and check the sources yourself.
what “bad guys”? Whatever the server owner feels is appropriate for levels of validation is up to them. ya know?
on quite a number of servers that are 18+, higher verification usually sounds a little bit more safe. But then on most of the servers I run or moderate, we tend to have our own in-house verification methods instead of the built levels for discord.
the idea of the verification levels is attractive, however. anything to keep the kids out. though I’m not sure I’d go as far as requiring a phone number, I might consider it for future.
it depends on how the server is going to be used. why a gaming server should be highest level, I don’t know. I would think “high” is enough.
in my experience, you can get pretty smooth gameplay at the cost of graphics, or pretty decent graphics at the cost of smoothness and fps.
I have mine set to pretty ok-ish settings for both. but then I tend to swap between handheld and docked for most games. so I’m kinda used to the graphics by now.
hope you find a setup you like <3
gotta let him get his nomnoms. ☺️
this is just one random dude’s opinion. it has no meaning whatsoever to anyone except him and his fans.
You love what you love! don’t worry so much about what one dude says about the games you like. 💕
why not try and embrace it? this isn’t the only run you will ever do. it might be interesting to see what you might do with the choices you’ve made.
just because you’ve made a choice that you must live with, let yourself live with it. try and make the best of it. or fight against it. this is a story that you’ve written from start to end. but you gotta allow it to run and end. ya know?
Sodium isn’t rare in the slightest. according to Wikipedia, “Sodium is the sixth most abundant element in the Earth’s crust and exists in numerous minerals such as feldspars, sodalite, and halite (NaCl).”
salt isn’t going anywhere. no need to fret.
I try to follow most asmr-nsfw content creators I enjoy on other platforms. But reddit is sadly where a lot of engagement happens.
I absolutely avoid reddit at all costs, though.
I was having a conversation with a friend about this just the other day, in fact. I feel that it would make a lot of things better, but a lot of things worse.
Privacy would essentially boil down to normal internet users, and then the illegal ones. I feel a subset for illegally obtained identities would probably be par for the course. So how to actually enforce this seems really hard to conceptualize. At least for me.
On one hand, I think trolls would either scamper away for fear of actually being held accountable for the things they say, or they’d double down and be even more bold.
It would also enable stalking/harassment/potential violence towards those that are just going about their day.
So I think it would absolutely make terrible people be held personally accountable for all they write/post online. But unfortunately, it would absolutely endanger those that don’t want to cause chaos and be trolls and join hate groups and stuff.
Lots of good. But way too much danger to those that just want to talk about their favorite anime or whatever.
it’s why I’ve stayed since the initial huge migration from reddit. I find myself caring more about interacting with other commenters.
I never did that on reddit because comment sections just kinda felt like battlefields or playgrounds rather than discussions.
I pick up every tiny pouch I see because they don’t take up space and they force me to not bring the entire kitchen sink with me everywhere. to make space for important drops or other things.
You can do like one for pots, one for explosives and arrows, etc.
I also take it a step further and use a goody bag system when it comes to gear for members I’m not using right now, but I will later. I store all their upgraded gear in a pouch along with anything else I think they might need.
If I’m taking someone out and it’s been a while, I have them go grab their little goody bag 😊 then they got everything all neat and organized and ready to go.
it saves me going “wait… were these for Gale? or Wyll. I can’t remember…” pain in the ass. Just make a little goody bag for them. Then you can organize now and save future you a headache!
you’re a badass. thanks.
it’s been taken down, but I’ve just been giving out the file to anyone who wants it. it’s only 24mb so I suggest spreading it as far and wide as possible.
it’s really a hell of a lot of fun to play. and there are more improvements than just the widescreen world view.
edit: I have just been sending it to people on discord. I could pop it on google drive and DM it to any who ask if you’d like.
oh I know. I just don’t want nintendo to get their paws on it again.
chrono trigger was a game developed by a fantastic supergroup of talented individuals. it’s still my favorite rpg all these years later because of that effort and skill.
just… please don’t put it on switch. please.
