Sorry, what? Youtube is full of ads.
The spotify home page is like the youtube trending page. I don’t care about it, never look at it, and it doesn’t get in my way. It’s really not a big deal. If this helps to keep the price down, great!
Free for you maybe, at the cost of the artists.
Oh no, the promotional feed shows promotional music?
Spotify lets you download songs if connectivity is your concern.
What a pain. I’ll happily pay to avoid having to go through that.
The fuck. Yeah good job now she’ll never learn how to use a modern OS. Really preparing her for when she needs to use a pc at school. No doubt she’ll get many compatibility issues, because no app still supports Vista, and good luck trying to google for useful answers that apply her PC.
No posting illegal shit and no being a twat. All the rules you need.
I couldn’t agree more with this. The karma system ruined Reddit long before the admins could. Gone with the hivemind.
I don’t understand people who buy drugs online. Why take the risk? So much safer to just buy in-person.
It’d actually be fairly easy to raise your kids on mars, due to the lower gravity.
Complaining about prices is so pointless. These companies price their games for maximum profit. Clearly other people seem to think it’s worth it. If you do not, don’t buy it. Simple as.
It differs, on some games it doesn’t work or still takes a long time. For those programs I like to use SuperF4, which kills the process when you press ctrl+alt+f4.
Just use the website? What do you need an app for?
I disagree. Standardization is one of the great benefits of international cooperation, and governments should hopefully continue to push towards it. It forces companies to work together rather than try to sabotage each other, which benefits the consumer.
I also don’t know about this SA law, but the EU one is about way more than just smartphones, it mandates a standardized charging connector for all kinds of electronic appliances. You’re underestimating the impact this will have on the market and our e-waste.
Feddit.nl has been really stable for me, haven’t had any issues yet.
My kobo is great. You never have to connect it to the internet if you don’t want to. I transfer epub files to it via USB.
This should be fixed in the next update
Paint.net is great but it doesn’t even come close to 80% the functionality of photoshop. It’s more like 10%. The plugins are interesting but fairly limited in what they can do.
I like to use paint.net for simple edits like cropping because of how lightweight it is, but as soon as I need to do any substantial image manipulation or drawing I’m opening photoshop. Paint.net will just hold you back. It doesn’t support some of the most common and basic features like masks, brushes, the pen tool and gradients.
