I’ve been loving it for my homelab (just a bunch of docker containers, but learning a lot!). Figured it would be the easiest for me to slide into for a desktop experience since my homelab is headless
Yeah, this is what I ended up doing. I’m surprised that the standard repository has such an old version! Completely removing that one and manually installing the latest version fixed my problems thankfully, minus a few visual glitches that weren’t there in Windows (Not too surprising)
There’s already an update?? I literally installed just a couple days ago, I’m surprised it didn’t give me the latest driver
I’ll take a look!
Disco Elysium was my first thought as well. Such great voice acting! It is easily my favorite game, and now I’m looking forward to Hopetown
This is the way. It’s always a risk buying used drives, and everything I’ve seen and heard about them has been good news so I expect OP getting a replacement should be pretty easy.
I used to like Rossman, but over the years it just kinda seems like he’s fallen into a negativity spiral. What used to be educational just sounds spiteful a lot of the time now.
Thank you! That adds a lot more context
Is there an actual article? Whatever this link is, it gives just a couple sentences. Linking an actual source instead of some third party front-end is pretty important when sharing news.
Could be your client. With Sync it properly word wraps, and for myself I actually find this font easier to read
I’m currently running an Elegoo Neptune 3 Pro (Currently $159.99 as of writing this). Elegoo is a generally good brand, they’re copies of the Ender series basically. Since you’re already used to Linux, look into Klipper which is custom firmware for 3D printers. You install the firmware onto the printer, then do all the heavy lifting on a separate computer (A Raspberry Pi in my case).
The Bamboo printers are basically closed source from what I understand, but I think I’ve seen some open source mods recently for them.
For filaments, PLA is very strong but brittle and will degrade in the sunlight. PETG would be a step up. Strong with some flex so it doesn’t shatter, and holds up better in the heat than PLA. ASA would probably be recommended as well, but I’ve yet to mess with that.
It’s likely prepping for loss of income from Google
So far foil seems to be smoothing things out. Not great, it will take some fiddling with, but it’s working!
Yeah, no bed screws on this one. I’ll need to upgrade this bed at some point, that’s for sure. The foil is a good idea, I could put it under the PEI sheet in the front right to bring it up the smallest amount. I’d be able to bring my z-offset up a bit and have a semi-consistent first layer that way
Terms of the settlement were not disclosed. The two parties agreed to the dismissal of the lawsuit and will cover their own costs and fees, according to a court filing dated Monday.
I love Elegoo’s printers. Got a Neptune 2S and a 3 Pro tuned and running Klipper, they’re good workhorses
Looks like nice even pressure, good job! It looks like you’re underextruding a bit though
Same, popped up while in the middle of Satisfactory
