That’s true but those bot networks were easy to find with reverse search. There were different types of bots and the clever ones went under the radar easily.
I used to call out bots sometimes about 2-3 years ago and I can tell you it already was like this. The only difference is the addition of AI, but early bot networks just used Google translate back and forth to copy entire old posts without being noticed.
They knew it promoted karma farming. It helps them make money so I doubt this is an “oops”.
The newer model CR-V doesn’t need an app, it’s just a toggle in the car settings. That icon at the top like the article shows is definitely annoying and I agree in calling it a dark pattern.
How far away do you need to start your car? Wouldn’t a regular remote start on a key fob work for most situations? Unless you’re taking the bus to your car.

I agree their naming is too confusing, it’s like they’re intentionally trying to limit themselves. When I started searching for phones I was definitely confused and I only understood their naming on day 2.
