Ah, glad to hear it! I’ll definitely give it a whirl, thanks.

Dang, those are beautiful screenshots. I recently moved over to Linux and have only tried a couple of games on here, but I should see how that one works… haven’t played it in a few months, and I have ways to go in it. I don’t even remember what chapter I’m on.
Ah, dang, I haven’t run into this yet. But I see what you mean. I actually just set this up in Linux, but back in Windows I didn’t run into this problem (maybe I was lucky enough to hit the same port, or maybe I didn’t have it set up entirely correctly, lol).
Yes, this is what I do, with Private Internet Access (VPN). You can bind qbittorrent to PIA’s interface, and also to its forwarding port.
I’m a very recent linux convert, coming from windows where I was using Vivaldi and I quite like it. But… are there reasons to switch to something else?
Awesome, thanks! Offline is definitely more my speed, it sounds like, but, I could see getting into the dailies sometimes.
Very nice. I’ve only played story mode, and not all the way through yet. What are the main differences between that and online?
hmmmmmm you’re tempting me to get back into this one. I think I have 60 or so hours on it? Not enough to try everything yet, but definitely enjoyed chilling in space.
I’ve just been seeing them around today, for some reason. Glitch in the matrix?
Hahaha! Yes, I also grind my partner’s for her, whenever I’m around… I keep offering to buy her an electric one, but… then that would be so LOUD… :)
Whoa, that’s impressive that you hand grind for espresso. That takes a bit of muscle even with a pretty dark roast I’d guess. I mostly use it for pourovers, but even on a coarse grind, some of those lighter roasted African beans can have me working up a sweat. :)
Oh and a couple of beans always pop out of the top! I’ve been meaning to custom-fit some kind of lid…
Yooo, Lido 2 represent! I’ve had mine for about the same number of years, use it daily, and it’s !@#$ing amazing. I remember wincing at the $200 pricetag, but it performs better than the Baratza, outlives the Baratza, and… well, yeah. Hand grinders for the win. I have more than gotten my money’s worth.
I’ve been reading The Recognitions (by William Gaddis) for months and I’m ready to be done with it. It’s brilliantly written, but it’s long and difficult in parts. So I’m kind of speed-reading the last 1/4 of it just because I’m losing steam. Don’t get me wrong… it’s a great book!
Very cool! Glad to hear it. I’ve always imagined I’d move on to a FreshRoast after my popper kicks the bucket (or when I get tired of it), but, I’ll do a little more research on this one too. Looks relatively affordable for the feature set.
Ooh nice. I still use a popcorn popper, and no bean probe or nothin’, but I like my results well enough. But I see something like this in my future because I like nerding on this stuff. I agree with almar, how’s it taste? Have you been having good results with the Skywalker?
The Gold Bug Variations is one of my favorite music-themed books.
oooh those are bringing up some serious childhood arcade memories.
I loved Zaxxon! I gotta see if I can play that on PC.
I’ve been roasting my own lately, in a popcorn popper. It’s cheap, quick, fun, actually decent if I don’t completely mess it up, and occasionally even surprisingly good (as in, “I’d pay $20 for a bag of this”). Because of the size of the popcorn popper, I only roast ~100g at a time, so lots of experimentation with roast times, etc. I definitely go on the lighter side.
Totally agree with this! Same thoughts about Spider-Man too.
I use Arch on my main machine, but I just got a new (old!) laptop that I’m going to set up probably with Debian. Someone mentioned I might try Devuan… and learn about all the init stuff… but I’m thinking I’ll keep it simpler for this one and go straight Debian first.
