Longer than your preferred range, but Helldivers 2 games generally last between 20 and 30 minutes. The absolute maximum a game could possibly last for is 42 minutes.
Fantastic speech! So happy I decided to watch it!
My advice: Practice going over other people’s code with a fine-tooth comb looking for bad architecture, flaws and inefficiencies.
I agree. Funny story, I wasn’t allowed to do code reviews at my current job for about 2 years because they thought my comb was too fine. Suddenly software quality is something they are really valuing and they’re allowing me to do code reviews again. Funny, that.
As a developer, I literally laughed hard enough to choke a little.
Is it because *gestures broadly in liberal American*?
Seconding Dying Light 1 and Borderlands 2. Excellent games! If you’re open to 3rd person, Helldivers 2 and The Division 2. No idea about DRM, though.
I didn’t realize that Netflix actually bought the studio. I just thought they licensed the game or something.
This is my biggest problem. I don’t like the real-time combat. When I originally played the demo of part one of the remake and discovered it was real-time combat, I went into the settings to change it to turn-based, only to discover there was no such setting. Stopped playing pretty soon after that.
If you can’t play with a light gun, what’s the point?
Ghost of Tsushima felt the same to me. Great characters and a beautiful world, but the gameplay felt bland. I was happy to finally get to the end because I didn’t have to play anymore.
I’m also a programmer, and have long suspected I have ADHD. I have thought about getting an official diagnosis and trying the meds, mostly because I want to play games again, and I wonder if that would help me focus. I don’t have any trouble focusing at work most of the time.
I’m in my thirties, child-free, work from home at a job I love, have plenty of disposable income and free time, have a passion for games and their development, and I still struggle to sit down and play something most of the time. I don’t even (usually) play games that expect regular participation. The struggle is real.
Yep! That’s why everyone was wondering WTF before it came out.
This update will also include a beta version of a new feature that many fans have been asking for – support for cloud streaming on PS Portal. When the update is live, PlayStation Plus Premium members will be able to participate in a beta for cloud streaming on PS Portal, allowing select PS5 games in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog* to be streamed directly from our servers, even without a PS5 console.
It’s interesting that it specifically mentions the Series X. My understanding is that anything released on Series X must also run on the Series S.
Honestly, I prefer the last one. I’m not entirely sure why this is getting such significant hype around it. It is by no means a bad game, and it is very well made, but it just didn’t feel as fun as the last one to me. IMO, the best thing about this one is the physics. They regularly add a ton of small things that you can knock around, and I had more fun playing with that than anything else in the game.
It uses AI to rearrange and resize content when you are printing from the internet. The example is pretty compelling, but doesn’t make up for everything else HP does.
I’m honestly wondering who you’re responding to with this. Of course the vulnerabilities are software. Why would they be hardware? OP talked about how he couldn’t update the software to allow him to access an app he wanted to use. They’re on iOS, and you’re talking about Android. Do you think developers don’t debug their software at all? 99.99% of devs aren’t intentionally creating vulnerabilities in their software. We’re not talking about web development?
Might want to update your other post too.
