Thank you, appreciate it! Added the link to the body of it, too.
I stream on https://twitch.tv/imperorthefirst and run https://www.youtube.com/@Imperor dedicated to longform gameplay of grand strategy, 4X and TTRPG games. My main goal is helping people get into more complex games!

Hey, I don’t quite understand your point. It’s entirely about the process and thoughts around migrating to Linux from the point of view of someone who has never attempted it. It’s about adaptation. If it does not fit the sub, I do apologize for crossposting here and will not do so in the future.
I posted the link in the original post, seems to have gotten lost, sorry. As others have said, it’s a video essay where I talk about the experience of it.
I do apologise if that doesn’t fit this sub. I had to fight a bit through stuff because I game and stream and that was what held me back from attempting it in the first place. Here’s the link :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JoYW6HEVBCI
If the remastered versions add modern controls that’d be super. It’s the main gripe I have with the older games besides low resolutions.
“We thought the unwashed masses would kill each other for the chance to give us all their money for something intangible and entirely devoid of value, but it appears they are even poorer than we thought they were.”
Honestly, I might just have to think about getting into that type if thing. I am not one for editing anyway.
Thanks for checking :D that is pretty cool.
I mirror my stuff from youtube over there and I do not fall into these categories. To be fair, I have the tiniest of audiences anyway, so… doesn’t really matter either way.
Haven’t checked in on Odyssee for a while though. Not sure if the auto mirror thing still works.
Totally with you, but tire dust is one of the major pollution particles from cars, maybe even the worst AFAIK. That, sadly will not go away but it is still leagues more desireable to have everything on electric than fossil fuel. Can’t have perfect stop good enough.
I think I’ll just get it and check it out. If it’s good, it goes up on stream some day. If not so much, maybe YouTube.
Would you recommend it and if so, why?
I only picked it up recently and I have put in 230+ hours (granted, some on stream) but I think it is one of the most fun survival games out there for me and a great zombie themed game overall.
I really appreciate the inventory handling, that there are no bosses and just zombies to deal with. My only gripe is - as with many of these games - that there isn’t a real end to a playthrough. But such is the nature of a sandbox.
Absolutely not worth the full price tag, but on sale it’s an easy recommendation from me.
You do not have to put up a cookie banner when you are only using technically required ones ornnone at all. Make a dedicated cookies page in your footer and have a table with every cookie, their name, their description and use as well as how long they last.
If you have none, put that info on that page. All you need to do.
That’s pretty neat. I tried using Kanban for a time, but it ended up being more work in terms of setup than it was worth it in the end. Might try a ticketing system next, honestly.
GDPR has plenty provisions where other laws or considerations may be more relevant than it, negating it in such cases.
I still do think the GDPR is extremely important, but it is no silver bullet, sadly.
Tagesschau has a graph showing AFD being the highest % voted party all over eastern Germany and second highest voted nearly everywhere else, following CDU/CSU. You really only see green or red in the larger cities.
Great, thank you! I’ll get in touch :)
That’s amazing - Would it be fine if I covered this on my (very, very small) YouTube channel? My content isn’t really related to anything fitness, but I am in the process of getting a bit fitter at the moment, so this could be a very fun thing to do and talk about for me, as I do have a weak spot for both RPGs and privacy respecting apps!
This AR obsession is utterly baffling to me. There are so few real applications and the hardware requirements are insane so it’s not something that will get widely adapted anyway. Sure in a decade or so it might have matured enough to have shed all these issues, but AR/VR feels like a really out of touch thing to prusue, especially if you look at the garbage ideas they have on how to use it - virtual meetings??
I get movies and games on these, possibly even some recording and porn, but these are not their B2B wet dreams anyway.
