This just in: Tesla’s new moniker “Arbeit Macht Frei” tracks poorly with most human beings.

Well if they’d stop putting signage with “Arbeit Macht Frei” over the entrance to their factories maybe they’d do better.

I’m all for it, but it was honestly annoying AF and most of his videos got downvoted. No one needs self promotion in a gardening sub.

Yeah the destruction of the niche communities plus the Big Brother style moderation is what drove me away.

To put it in context, I was an active member of a gardening sub specific to my growing zone, and THAT got AI astroturfed to hell and back. Mods did nothing about it. So I say good riddance to the cesspool that reddit has devolved into.

The other 60% are old people re-sharing it.

Ghost town and nothing but scams and business spam at this point. It’s a shame that FB marketplace killed it, because it was relatively simple and useful for what it did

Reminds me a lot of after 9/11 when they tried to change French Fries to Freedom fries. That stuck about as well as water on teflon.

This is the whole reason that I discovered and came to Lemmy. Reddit is literally 90% bots, from the posts, to the filtering, to the censoring, to outright banning. It’s a mess.
