I’m playing this from this June I think, and it’s really a great game. Keep up the good work!
Yeah, I played it for a lot of time on my Linux desktop, and I never understood why it was unplayable on Steamdeck Nice work!
Well
I must be sincere, and say I would never expected this
It’s more players than Elden ring or Baldur’s gate 3 at launch.
I see you have already solved this with lutris, but checkout also https://heroicgameslauncher.com/ for epic.
I tried vesktop two days ago, after using discord-screenaudio for over a year, and I’m in love with it. Check it out guys, it’s really good.
You can use the pipewire capture to do the remote play on wayland session.
You can try to use gamescope for that. Really useful for games that crash alt-tabbing
I hate it I try to always avoid always online drm but sometimes it’s really impossible, i’m gonna be honest and say that i got some issue with my steamdeck for them. (f u ubisoft btw) So if i find that a singleplayer game needs an always online drm i just don’t buy it.
Hardware side is really impressive, but i prefer the steamdeck for now For 2 reasons mainly : Steam os Touchpad
i play several games on the go where i use some type of mouse input and will not able to play them on the ally on the go, also i don’t have gamepass and do not play competitive games where is necessary a kernel level anticheat (except vermintide sigh) so i’m really fine with proton and gaming with it. I mainly play on linux even on a desktop so probably i’m really biased
I will say that 0 A.D. and veloren are my favourites!
I agree with you for the most part, but valve also is funding the developers behind the most important things out of proton. DXVK and vkd3d-proton were almost non-existent before Valve employed them.
