Mount and Blade: Warband Europa Universalis 4 and dlc ofc Total War: Empire
Warband mods and Eu4 could probably carry me the entire 5 years, Empire is just a wild card
10/10 survive yes?
“Call me dickmaster”
Glad we got that over with
100% thought this meant potato chips and was wondering if they meant bags or individual chips. Surely they didn’t count every potato chip??

It promotes money. If creativity happens to align with that, then yes.
If that doesn’t work, get the youtube enhancer extension. Turn off it’s built in adblock. You’ll have a bunch of buttons on the bottom of the video, one of which is remove ads, which becomes skip ads when an ad plays. You will still get ads, but you’ll be able to instantly skip them all without setting off their adblock detector. (Ps, to get the bar in fullscreen, set it to bottom of window)
Wait I thought that was just my internet being slow or smth. I haven’t got anything like 10 seconds, but it has been slow.
If you don’t have the DLC for Hoi4, Road to 56 makes for a great mod to get you some good focus trees and such, pretty much every country in the world has a unique focus tree. Worth it to check out.
Thats a common problem people have with Paradox games, for the most part my goals in them are just “paint the map however is most convenient” lmao. I have a hard time actually getting the motivation to fight tough opponents and normally ignore them in favor of expanding the easy path, until those powerful guys are now too powerful for me to even deal with.
Btw, the Total War games I said I liked are older entries into the series. I haven’t really played with the newer Total Wars, so it’d probably be worth it for you to look into them and see which one is most attractive for you as I can’t really reccomend any of them having not played them. Do know that Empire is extremely clunky, and Napoleon is practically the same game, with a smaller map, far less clunkiness, and of course a bit later in history.
The general consensus I think is that the release was horrible, and the game is… alright, not great, not horrible. The first DLC, Voices of the People, has HORRIBLE reviews with only 26% positive on Steam tho, people are upset that instead of inproving the game itself, they added flavor for a single country instead. The popular theory is that they did this so they could give all the people who preordered the first couple DLCs crappy DLC just to fulfill that promise, and have the actual important DLC later so they have to pay for it.
In case you aren’t already aware, Cities: Skylines 2 comes out October 24th
Other than that I can only really reccomend you strategy games cause thats what I play lol.
From the same publisher as Cities: Skylines are the most popular grand strategy games, often refered to as Paradox (the company) games. Biggest ones are Eu4 (Europa Universalis 4) and HoI4 (Hearts of Iron 4), but there are quite a few others. Keep in mind however that these games with all DLC will cost you an arm and a leg, Paradox is heavy on DLC. But there are subscriptions for them, so $5 per month to have all the DLC, which is significantly cheaper until you play for 100000 years (I think more like 5 years before that $5 adds up to what it would’ve cost to buy the DLC). If you aren’t already into these, do know that they’re hard games to learn, I mostly learned how to play by watching youtuber lets plays of them.
Total War games are also good, I personally like Empire, Naloleon, and Shogun II / Fall of the Samurai / Rise of the Samurai. If you’ve never heard of them, they’re a mix of a grand strategy turn based game in the campaign map, and a pausable RTS in the actual battles where you control your units and fight it out.
I can’t really reccomend Vic III, if he enjoys Vic II, Vic III is a radically different game than that. He would probably want to do a lot of looking into it to see if he likes where the third game took the series.
Its just a photoshop of the serious cat meme, no cats were harmed in the making of this meme… probably
