I’m good. Not really interested in supporting Hasbro after all that’s happened since BG3 released.

I just wanted a remake of the original game. Instead they split it into multiple games as a cash grab. I stopped caring after the first one.
In my experience it doesn’t matter. You have to regularly refactor your code to keep up with new features. The more often you can make time to do it the easier it is.
This hits way too close to home. Had something similar happen last week. I knew the task would be simple but didn’t realize I needed a different API key to test it locally. Lucky my boss is also a slacker like me.
🤣
Just finished the first episode and I’m excited. Wife wanted to stop for the evening so I’ll have to wait until tomorrow but man I can’t wait to watch more this weekend. I especially liked the Brotherhood of Steal scene.
Edit: Brotherhood of Steel
It’s a net sum to me. The harm they have done to our society and planet far outweigh and good that has come with it. Technology isn’t inherently evil but these tech companies that only care about profit at all cost are.
Since when have any of these tech companies done anything but change the world for the worse?
She is from Spokane Washington not Australia. She got a lot of recognition for her role in Euphoria and is blowing up a bit right now because she is a young, attractive, talented actress.
I mean, it’s posted in programming humor so yeah.
If JavaScript implements type safety then I believe it will go away. If not then it will continue to be used.
My understanding is that the micro transactions can mostly be earned in game for free. That aside I have taken a stance and refuse to play any game that has them. They are cancer for gaming and I don’t want to support it in any form.
Awesome! Not bashing the game but the cyberpunk genre just doesn’t appeal to me. Really looking forward to this. I’m hoping they go with a different Witcher though.
It could if they were willing to modify their business model. They could have leaned into the game merchandise more but relying on used game sales was never going to be sustainable.
I think that we need regulations on AI to protect citizens. Corporations are training AI off of workers/citizens data and they will use it to eliminate jobs without paying us for our contributions. Right now companies like SpaceX and Amazon want to replace workers with AI trained robots to reduce costs and that will be detrimental to the working class. I don’t believe that AI is bad. I believe corporations are evil by nature and need to be controlled.
If we allow corporations to control AI we are in for a bad time. I’m not interested in seeing these examples thanks.
It literally won game of the year when it came out. How does that make it underrated?
Larian seems like a great company. This is exactly the type of game studio that we should be supporting with our money. I loved BG3 because of them, not because of the D&D licence.

There are tons of examples where a sequel or DLC have been great additions to a game or series.
I’m replaying the first Fallout since the show release and as much as I love it the controls suck. I would like to see a remaster that fixes that. Graphics are fine to me though.
