I would kill for something like the Miyoo Mini in a GBA form factor.
I get that there’s a lot of nostalgia for the Gameboy / Gameboy color layout but the GBA/SD layout is definitely more ergonomically friendly.
Xbox One X 360
Because who can afford a new gaming rig/system AND games to play on it?
2, but make him look more indifferent and less angry I think.
Why won’t anyone make these with a GBA layout?
My old GBA was my favorite way to play Gameboy and GBC games because it’s just easier to hold.
$16.99 was pretty steep for how much I used it, I just cancelled.
So they’re turning it into a Driver/GTA clone?
I don’t, sites like this are they best when their a hidden corner of the internet
I think Gamers Nexus also did a video on it recently.
Edit: I’m an idiot and I just recently started watching GN so I had no idea it was the same channel 🤷♂️
And if you recommend Discord as an alternative, it’s not the same.
I keep seeing people recommend discord as an alternative but it’s just chat rooms, If it’s an alternative for anything it’s ICQ.
Digg (a link aggregator very much like Reddit) started pulling similar shit and everyone left for the alternative, which was Reddit at the time.
After everybody left Digg, Reddit became the default and after about 15 years they are doing the same things that drove people away from Digg
Removing old.reddit will push more people away than locking down the API did.
It’s not X so 👍.
I rarely used Twitter before the Musk takeover, only to follow a handful of authors I like for updates about their books and a few people who did aerospace updates, unfortunately most of them jumped on the BlueSky train instead of the Mastodon bus, and I’m not going to have an X account so BlueSky it is.
The Series X would make a great Steambox
I hope you enjoy it!
I actually picked it up again after recommending it myself lol
If you’re into the sci-fi, you’ll probably like Project Hail Mary, it’s hard sci-fi and you get very invested in the story.
Ray Porter also does a great audiobook narration of it on audible.
They all cashed out on MMOs, The Warcraft series completely died off when WoW went online.
Games need to bring back locally hosted servers.
I remember back in the day I could play Warcraft II with a friend over dialup, I’d put his number in and that modem would call his house and he’d answer with his copy of Warcraft and we could play against each other over the phone line with no server.
Even as recently as the Xbox 360 you could system link games and play on multiple consoles without any connection to the internet.
I don’t see why it would be so hard to allow for a locally hosted server on most games. They would still be playable indefinitely without need of any kind of central server system.
And they don’t need to be mutually exclusive, Halo 2 allowed for you to play both on Xbox live and system link games
