For anyone wanting to play, the “correct” order is Old Blood-> New Order-> New Colossus. Excellent games. Old blood is the first chronologically, and is a little lighter on story in favor of some extra fun elements about halfway through, and then the gameplay and story of both New Order and New Colossus are just amazing.
My favorite part is how cops will break cover or obscure doorbell cams all the time.
I just love the people who refuse to get a Quest device (formerly Oculus) because it’s meta. And meta bad. But then they have their entire life connected in a web of google and/or Microsoft. For my money it’s the best VR option out there. No computer required, relatively cheap, and a relatively large catalog and user base.
To be fair, a device in a new technology that is now nearly 8 years old is quite out of date. I use my Quest 2 all the time, and it’s a few years old now. Beat saber is a great quick workout, Walkabout Minigolf is great alone or with friends. It’s fun to watch a 3d movie or other content on a big screen virtually with a few friends who don’t live close. The Lego game is super cool. Your VR chats and poker games. There’s tons of other games I have picked up over the years. I’m excited to try the new Batman once I upgrade. Oh and I can still plug it into my PC and use it as a headset for that too.
I never stopped
“It’s not a lake, it’s an ocean”
Also the part where you and Pierce are singing along to What I Got by Sublime near the beginning of Saints Row The Third
My local shop has about 3 full 6 foot wide floor to ceiling bookcases of just disposables. Then there’s one shelf with one brand of juices and about 7 options.
We used to have a great vape market for those types of vapes. Since 2020 state and fed government has rinsed the market “for the kids” and basically created what we see now, a market of 98% disposable sold by overseas companies. Before that there were countless brands making batteries, tanks, etc. now a lot of smoke shops don’t even sell refillable vapes or liquid.
Second for Alan Wake/Control Universe games. Quantum Break is fun too and also by Remedy, and more action adventure.
It’s insanely gorgeous
In AAA studios this seems to be the case. Right now it seems like the mid size studio is putting out the most consistently good quality work.
A favorite of mine!
I think a lot of the quests are still great, while I think the writing generally is worse it’s not bad. I’ve spent hours building ships, I really like just jumping around system to system not even landing. I would say there’s a higher ratio of non combat options which I enjoy. You can spend a long time just running around talking to people- which for some is a negative, I love my RPGs roll play heavy over combat
100% agree, there’s lots to love. I admit that it has a lot of failings and they totally over promised what the game was going to be. But the way people talk you’d think it was an actual bad game.
I have a lot of fun with starfield, and enjoy the DLC, but admit it’s the weakest game they’ve made.
I really enjoyed the Ryujin quest line, the quest where the world was shifting, and there’s tons of great smaller quests and interactions, but I agree the generation ship was a big miss, the main quest flounders and flops hard about half way through and overall they didn’t do enough with universe building.
Still give a try, it’s not for everyone and it’s not to the same quality as their previous games but it’s honestly not a bad game. At worst I’d say it’s aggressively average. But I still have a great time with ship combat and exploration, the loading doesn’t bother me as much and people act like the quests and writing are BAD, They are not, it’s just not to the level of their previous games. But there are still a few quests I absolutely love.
Indiana Jones. Stealth and hand to hand are gonna get you to the end better than trying to one man army it
