Well of course owners aren’t going to replace themselves. They’re the owners, not the lowly workers. It’s like how owners exempt themselves from return to office mandates or how employees are fired if they find out you have another full time job yet owners “run” multiple businesses.
Swabbing grease is faster than pulling switches. And switches aren’t necessarily pre-lubbed either so you could still have scratching. The gateron factory oil is light oil and can be scratchy. That’s why keyboard companies list whether their switches are lubbed independent of the brand of switch.

Yeah I want to completely switch off of Plex but neither is a good solution for my non tech family members. Mother in law is in a retirement center where they use wifi provided for the condos so I can’t access her router. And I would expect her ip to occasionally change on reboots etc. I might try IP ranges or narrow geo blocking.
I thought there was some way to use Jelly on the backend with a Plex client!

Microsoft is in it for the money. I think they’d rather get $30 a year every year than get $30 one time from a PC manufacturer who bundled Windows.

Dude used MIT license without knowing why GPL exists, then got upset. If you use MIT, you use it because you absolutely do not care if your work is appropriated by others, especially corporations.

Yeah, you can swap more on a framework laptop than the mini PC he’s using.
However glasses, a mini PC, keyboard and battery is smaller than a laptop. Using whatever keyboard you want instead of what came with the laptop for forever is also nice.
