I noticed Alt-Text is far less popular on lemmy than on mastodon.social, not a fan, but maybe it has to do something with the User-Interface, and how obvious alt-text is made.
Who gives a shit about tags. Just type it next to the image.
Please take a screenshot if you’re going to make a rude comment and post alongside the text.
It was a recent addition a few weeks/months ago. LW does not support them for instance.
