I saw that announcement video when it first came out and was super hyped for The Division. I didn’t end up playing it until around 2019 and I was really impressed with how close to the trailer the actual gameplay was. I know it had some controversy, but I guess I’m easy to impress lol

They toted it as an MMO and the initial game level 1-30 satisfies that in all the right places. it was the after. the end game. the only thing there was to do was RNG grind level 35 elites who killed you with one hit but needed gods entire army to defeat. and when did win get ready to do it over 1000 more times for a 2% stat bonus.

drop in drop out drone bro coop? lol get real. not since battlefield 4 commander mode was pulled.

moving deeper into the zone felt natural. Nope Load Screen for Dark Zone.

the full game, which was streets and subway became a dlc addon.

there is Nothing to do beyond shooting enemies. you want mmo stuff? fishing, crafting, survival? nah breh grab ammo from u limited ammo box and get back to shooting more urban thugs.

the story and narratives were dark and gritty and felt real. the three city based factions felt like theyd be in real life.

…I’m still salty about it 😮‍💨

Ah, that’s fair. I’m a pretty casual player and didn’t really go deep beyond the medium skill levels, so I didn’t really appreciate the cut-corners beyond that. I hardly even played much multiplayer TBH, I played and loved the single-player campaigns, which is what I tend to do on most games :D
