When Elon Musk bought Twitter, a ton of people who used to know Twitter was a garbage website suddenly forgot, and started wanting what Twitter had been before. Which was… Really, really bad.
Twitter was built on a business model that wanted more profit, which they got with increased user attention, which was gained through encouraging hostility between users in its unsegregated niches. I’ve seen quite a few people describe Twitter as addictive, too.
Jack Dorsey himself isn’t an outspoken benevolent person, and even if he was, how different would that make him from how we perceived Elon Musk a few years ago? He has questionable friendships, and questionable at best.
Dorsey could easily be one bad day away from becoming a Musk himself.

I’ve got to wonder, why the downvotes?
